I'm doing the AS History exam in November and I have to study the United Nations and how it influenced the Cold War. How is the best way to cover all the conflicts where UN has been involved?
If someone is studying the same or has already done the exam, I will thank you so much if you could give me some tips to cover all this subject. Thanks.

I've never missed one....but the candidates who are probably going to win the primaries, are just not my cup of tea. NOTE: I always vote in local elections--there my vote DOES count.

Sec 377A of the Penal Code, which is Gross Indecency with another male person, states that any male person, who in public or private, commits or abets the commision of, or procures, or attempts to procure the commission by any male person. This law links to Sec 377 of the Penal Code, which is Unnatural Offences, whereby whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animals, shall be punished with imprisonment for life. Eg homosexuality, sodomy and bestiary. What impact do this law gives to family who have one or more of the members gay or lesbian. This is a hotly debated issue in parliament now. Will homosexuals face discrimination in their career and applying for apartments? How about posting through schools?

I had searched him for a couple months now and he always showed up in the system, but the release date was not until next March. I searched him again today and the site says there is no record of him. Does that mean he got released? Or transfered to another place? Last time he was transfered it showed up on the website, so does anyone know what this means?

i mean look at this
The ACLU has filed 6 lawsuits against the Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana school board over what the group sees as teacher-led prayer in school activities. whats wrong in praying in school. - they built those foot things for the muslims to pray with in minisotta with tax money, the ACLU said nothing about this. but there are against public prayer.

the have opposed immigration rules becos they say "it disturbes people's civil liberties".- WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SAFETY OF AMERICA BOTH ECONOMICALLY AND IN A SECURITY POINT OF VIEW. without a strong U.S. economy, there can be no ACLU.

The decriminalization of drugs such as heroin, cocaine and marijuana. - this is not jamica.

its becaus of pathetic groups like this that make people angry to discriminate.

like the GOP talking point of "fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them here", or is it because of a combination of airline security, homeland security, and immigration officials doing what Republicans voted against when Clinton was in office, and continued to ignore the first 9 months of Bush's first term?

would we really need to turn people away, or have immigration catch them getting off their planes, if they were really staying in Iraq?

Like some Americans, who think capitalism is a good system. Capitalism does NOT value equality. Everyone should be treated equally, regardless of race, sex, education, etc. Also people should paid exactly the same and given the same benifits. Alot of people think they are superior than others. Guess what? They are all wrong! There would be no competition, either, which is good, since competion is evil. I don't understand what is wrong with these ideals. They are very good and benifit everyone.

We went to a familiar restaurant: me, my wife, my 9 year old daughter and 3 year old son. My kids both ordered a pineapple juice. When we were about to finish our meal, our daughter pointed out that her juice has a weird taste. Only then did we find out that they got cocktails with alcohol. By that time our son almost finished his drink. We went to the ER and he turned out to be healthy. Should we sue this restaurant?

Let's just say that someone was a victim and hasn't told anyone. You have no idea, but you sense that something is wrong. What are signs that he/she was raped? How can you prevent this from happening? Like a someone under the age of consent, for example. What would you do to make sure the people around you aren't watching you or something?
