I am 15 and dont have much time to fix any massive injuries before i chase my goal as a Force Recon Marine. please, help me if you know the answer. or a way to treat it!

And i cant kneel extremely well. but i think a bit of yoga could get that better. im 14 and i can even touch my toes. thats how inflexible i am

I had it when I was about your age.
The doc immobilized my knee by putting it in a cast for 6 weeks.

I think that helped - after all, I did have a 4-year gig in the Navy. Could have gone Marine if I wanted to.

Osteochondritis of the tibial tuberosity (Osgood Schlatters) is disqualifying if it is symptomatic. It's a fairly common condition among males which starts as the top of the shin bone decalcifying in adolescence to reform as a floating bone between the shin and the knee cap in early adulthood. The reason it's disqualifying is that you will be called upon to drop into a prone position with your rifle to fire it and repeated episodes of that can produce arthritis in that joint in later life.

You have to be 18 or 17 with your parents' consent. Graduating from High School Helps too.

I had it when I joined. I never even told them about it and they never noticed. If I remember right they never asked for my medical records from when I was kid. I have had it since I was 12 years old. You should be fine as long as it doesn't cause you any problems.
