If we find any policeman talking to any citizen in an abusive language and physically assaulting the person for minor irritations how do we confront the policeman to tell him that his behaviour is unjust and unlawful, if we know that the policeman has a reputation of being abusive to anyone who confronts him in such a situation.

I think they are "emboldened" completely on their own!

I think adding more fuel to hatred is the U.S. invading Middle Eastern countries.

Isn't the fact that the U.S. continues to interject itself into the matters of the Middle East what is causing this terrorism?

My job entails that I work with police officers on a daily basis. I am however, not an officer myself, I work for a company that prevents money laundering, fraud, kidnapping, etc.

Today I got a congratulations from a superior because my work had gotten 3 people arrested, and they plead guilty and are now in prison. This isn't the first time I have gotten someone arrested, but I don't feel good about it, like I should.

I don't know why...the only thing I can think of is I was raised in the "hood" and have seen many of my friends arrested, and me having to bail them. I know I am doing a good thing, helping these people get arrested, but I don't feel good.

I think that's why I don't feel good when I get someone arrested, if there are police out there...have you ever felt bad when someone is arrested?

Read an article that states that Nancy Pelosi is behind this one and after further research it was true that she is using this as a way to get Turkey mad as the US and in turn they will no longer allow us to use the airspace or the military bases if we pass this resolution.

Is it me or does it seem that she is playing politics with the military lives by making thier job that much harder?
Any other take on what is motivating this woman?
Is this wrong or just the way things are donw?

How do you spell "dishonest"! If it looks like a duck, quakes like a duck, probably is a Duck! and considering the trail of mysterious Deaths during the Clinton Rain, doesn't surprise me because

...nobody in the press ask her these questions? Why? Paid off? afraid of dying? WHAT?

I'm always hearing my parents, my parents friends, etc talking about how they don't want Hilary Clinton to become president, and pretty much every person oh here seems like they don't really want her to become president. In fact, i don't even know anyone who wants her to become president. Yet, I always hear people say she's going to win. Why is this? And do you guys think she will? I don't really have an opinion on this kind of stuff since i'm only 14, but i'm just wondering :D

Don't tell me that a movie about a scientifically disputed "fact", Global Warming promotes peace. Did he stop a war anywhere? Has he prevented one warring faction from killing another faction? Did he end slavery anywhere? Did he feed a starving country? Has he united Arab and Israeli? Has he stopped world wide terrorism? Did he end communism? What exactly has he done in the name of "peace"? If you are going to use the movie in your answer be able to prove (use citations from credible sources) that it actually promotes peace. Otherwise you'll automatically get a thumbs down.

This just makes me see red! In Nevada a guy was gonna be put to death by lethal injection tonight! This angel' s crime? Beat a elderly woman to death! There was more then enough evidence to prove he did it. But a group of LIBERAL protesters got together went down there and started whinnying about the death penalty being to cruel. Found a LIBERAL judge and got a stay . Now it starts all over going to a grand Jury deciding it the death pen. is to cruel! Did I mention this little bastard beat a elderly women to death? DO YOU SEE WHAT"S WRONG WITH THIS??? If that was my mother he killed I can guarantee he wouldn't think lethal injection is to cruel . He would be begging for it . Now you tell me why this pease of Sh*t should not be put to death!!!! You pretend it was your mother!

This is one of the rare times that I really like a candidate but I could never "pull that lever" for him in a national election (although I would consider him as a legislator). I really like Ron Paul the man,. and I can easily understand why he is getting a lot of buzz. He is very thoughtful and personable and truly seems like a real nice guy. He has personally responded to me and I am not a Republican, libertarian or even in his district.

I know what his viewpoints are but I just don't agree with some of his views on gov't. Of course, I agree with him about the folly of the Iraq conflict and that only Congress should declare war, and I wouldn't mind replacing the federal income tax with a national sales tax that would exempt food, fuel, non-luxury clothing and shelter so that the poor is overburdened from the transition.

Are there others who have a similar take on this or other candidates?

lol

the economy is facing a major insolvency crisis

reducing slightly the rate at which the colossal national debt is increasing is trivial

it's like a 300 lb man claiming that a reduction in his rate of weight gain from 5 lbs a month to 4 lbs a month is good news

good news? i think not

(i say allegedly, since i wouldnt be surprised if the figures were massaged to make them appear better than is the reality)

nancy and other liberals are trying to pass this genocide bill so that turks would be pissed off and end the basing rights we have in their country......going after the president is one thing but now these liberals are trying to hurt our relationships with other nations.......not to mention that it would be extremely hard to keep turks out of northern iraq after this sh*t hits the fan. How come we don't hear about this on CNN and CBS so liberals know whats going on.

"Behind the free market ideology there is a model, often attributed to Adam Smith, which argues that market forces--the profit motive--drive the economy to efficient outcomes as if by an invisible hand. One of the great achievements of modern economics is to show the sense in which, and the conditions under which, Smith's conclusion is correct. It turns out that these conditions are highly restrictive. Indeed, more recent advances in economic theory --ironically occurring precisely during the period of the most relentless pursuit of the Washington Consensus policies--have shown that whenever information is imperfect and markets incomplete, which is to say always, and especially in developing countries, then the invisible hand works most imperfectly. Significantly, there are desirable government interventions which, in principle, can improve upon the efficiency of the market.....

every 5 seconds a child dies of hunger

over 10 million children die every year due to hunger/hunger-related causes

over 120 million children in the developing world are underweight

Americans represent less than 5% of the world's population

the USA has almost 20% of the votes at the IMF

IMF policy decisions require 85% support to pass

therefore the USA is the only member with vetoing power

the conditions placed on loans to developing countries are more beneficial to Wall Street than the borrowing countries

and it is argued that this is one reason for the growing inequality between rich and poor

it costs 10 cents to provide a child with a cup of porridge

Being activated for 8 months on Mobilization orders in support of Iraqi Freedom Glabal war on terrorism (Naco-terrorism) to South America. I have deployed but only on active duty never in the IRR. Do I rate the Armed Forces Service Medal with the M device for being activated? Star on Nat defense medal? Star on over seas ? Anything else? Can I get a star on my Combat action ribbon if engaged? Or do I only rate one award per conflict? I volunteered to go cause I beleive in the fight on terrorism. The reasons why i ask about the awards is because I have to change them all over again if Im gonna be rating more. I mightest well buy them here and have them ready in case I have to put on my service uniforms. From my understanding there is not a large selection where I will be. Thanks.
