Communism isn't a form of government, any more than capitalism is, even though Reagan and the Bushes would have tried to make you think it is, with their crony pigs running the show.
Hey Bryan, I mean Nimrod, get a f***ing clue. Ever hear of e-co-no-mics? I'll say it again, more slowly, since you have such a hard time with the concept e----co----no----mics. Got it? No? One more time: e-------------co---------------no------------------mics. Yeah, yeah, I know--they don't teach that in your home school, where the teacher is as clueless as you are. Tsk, tsk. And I guess that helmet you're wearing didn't help when it came to preventing brain damage. Tsk, tsk.
And speaking of China going capitalist, there couldn't be a better example of how destructive the "invisible hand" of unregulated capitalism is. You got your sweat shops, your poisonous foods, all the goodies Reagan wanted us to have besides the aspartame (***-par-tame, tastes like first syllable) he pushed through the FDA. Nice work, con-servative artists/arses!

Communism is an economical system, and what it would be like to live in a communist economy, would largely depend on what type of government operates it, and how strict the economic regulations are.
Strict government regulation/ownership of the fuel and energy industries, while all people recieve a certain guaranteed income, can be considered a communist/socialist economy, even while it promotes other private industries, and different private sector pay according to career type.
The problem with communist/socialist systems is that they have a tendancy to be run by dictators, or politicians that feel they are above the law, and leads to the self-destruction of the entire system. In reality, any system can self-destruct from the same thing, just government types that do not change the ruling class through elections, the downward spiral isn't slowed by election and regime change.
Its claimed that communism is a system of government, but if you review the definition, even the definition that states it is a form of government refers to economic policy rather than a system of government.

I would make an "in soviet russia" joke, but I'm not sure you'd know what I was talking about...
it depends on what "communists" were in charge. You have Cuba pretending to be communist, but religion is now open and Castro has secret police.
in China, they have almost a free market now. it's completely different than it was 10-15 years ago.
in North Korea, Kim Jung Il is worshipped as almost a god of some kind, and people are forced to show incredible devotion to the government and whims of the leader, though everyone is starving
then there are "socialist" countries like Sweden, Denmark, etc. which are less capitalist than the US but still have some free markets

Most or many Americans speak poorly about Chinese. Many in this forum use foul language. Many are not considerate of the feelings of others. And many pre-judge others without knowing the other person. Americans sometimes condemn good people, people who could make a difference in your world. So, you're killing your goose even before your goose lays her eggs!
In mainland China, a communist country, we do not have such problems as people using foul language and the streets are always kept clean!

Amazing the number of extreme right wingers so desperate to display thier ignorance.
Hillary is not a communist. Has she advocated the nationalization of industry? Has she advocated central planning of the economy?
No - in fact by world standards Hillary would be considered center right.

It's similar to living in a republic, within a democracy with capitalism that has run amuck with greed of which the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and there is damn little anyone can do to change it as the wealthy of the world control everything no matter what form of government is in place! Those with the gold, make the rules, no matter how it was illegally obtained!

Jerry, what ARE you smoking?
Not a form of government?
Suuuure.... ok, it's a sport, right?
No? Must be a religion?
Nimrod... it's a form of government.
Ask Hillary.
She's shooting for it.
State is everything. People take what they are given and are happy for it.
Stand in line for a loaf of bread.
Forget flu shots. Only authorized for people who absolutely need them. Too expensive for the government to pay for.
Then the tax hikes come.
Hillary can't pay the ultra trillion dollar ACTUAL price tag without burying us in taxes.
Will she tax the rich?
Hell no. Bill and Hillary ARE rich!
Don't you call someone who gets 5 or 6 figures to give a SPEECH "rich"?
