No they don't, invading Iraq has not helped one bit! and threatening to attack Iran & Syria is just making things worse.
However the underlying terrorist problem stems from way back in the late sixties and early seventies, with the US propping up the corrupt and aggressive Israeli government, providing them with weapons & technology. Of all the UN resolutions passed against Israel NONE have been implimented.
Terrorist attacks will continue and I fear that we have not seen the worst yet, thier "succeses" over the past few years will spur them on!
I have my own views on how to address the matter but I will not post it here.

Spot on!
Terrorism is up several thousand percent since our invasion of Iraq.
9/11 was just the prologue, really. Osama's greatest dream come true was the moment we crossed over the Kuwaiti frontier. Bush dragged us right into his trap.

Oh really and what pray tell was causing terrorism before we "interjected" ourselfs in the Middle East. Did they hit us on 9-11 because they loved us? A theory that ignores history, typical of the "education" of liberals.

Truth Seeker, as usual, you're being ridiculous.
Well said, Patriot.
Look... they are small. We are a giant.
Think of it that way. In order for the inferior force to get up the guts to attack the superior one, they need to get some courage.
Some people use 'liquid courage' to get them the nerve to do things they'd otherwise be afraid to do.
The terrorists' liquid courage is our apparent weakness.
Since Clinton started the trend of pulling out of everywhere at the first sign of trouble, the general consensus is that we don't have the stomach for a fight.
We ARE raising a generation of PC Pansies right now...
soon we won't have the stomach at all.
Do you think they care about us being in Iraq? No!
They don't like us being in Afghanistan and disrupting their training bases... or driving Osama underground and into caves to live his life on the run... but Iraq?
Listen, the Liberals are all about guilt. They use it to control.
They feed you crap about us being responsible for Global Warming. Sure... IF it were carbon dioxide doing it (which is NOT proven) then we'd be contributing 2% of the total amount in the atmosphere (hardly significant)
But they tell you it's us, show you some sick animals and you open your wallet and pay them
Now they tell you it's OUR fault there are Islamic radicals. We did this. Feel guilty? Once they get you there, you'll pull out of Iraq and help them make the President look bad.
They play politics with our troops' lives while emboldening our enemies to attack again, as we seem easy pickings.
(oh, sweet, sweet naive jane... OBL STATED it is his Jihad's mission to destroy the American way of life and get the entire world under the law of Islam. Sounds like he hates our freedom to me... everything else is just a sideshow when someone says something like that. They're dangerous and need to be dealt with.)

They say we are occupying their holy land with 'infidels' (ie military bases. We are, and they are mad about it. Thus, terrorists who kill us on our soil first go to a strip club. They don't 'hate freedom' as we have been taught to believe. They hate our global domination. We have so much, yet give so little. We make demands of others when we have not lived up to the same standards (see nuclear weapons).
This may not be popular, but if you actually read what OBL and his cohorts have to say, they are not mad about our freedom, they are mad about our occupation. They are mad about the people we have killed, harmed, etc. in the name of freedom. Until we can look past our anger and hurt and actually listen to what others are saying, we will never hear more than political talking points. We don't have to like or agree with anything OBL has to say, but we must acknowledge that the truth is not as black and white as our government wants us to believe. Somewhere in that grey middle is where we need to be in order to change our history instead of repeating it.

It's US foreign policy that has led to attacks against our 'interests' over the years.
We consistently support and maintain these authoritarian regimes around the world that suppress their people brutally.

Uh no? We weren't in the middle east when 9/11 happened, we weren't in the middle east when they attacked our embassy in Iran.
Please for God sakes try to do some homework before you make silly and absurd assumptions.

Which country were we occupying when they attacked us on 9/11? Which country were we occupying when they bombed the USS Cole? Which country were we occupying when they bombed the WTC in 1993?
They want to kill us either way. They don't like that we are allies with Israel and that we aren't muslims.

No. Islamofacists will try to kill us regardless of whether or not we are in the Middle East. I'm sure they don't like us being there but it's better to be there and defend ourselves then for us not to be there and have them trying to kill us anyways.
