late president marcos was deposed from malakaniang palace because of this and other reasons which were not clearly proven to be correct.the point is there is ahuge capital involve with this case.late pres, marcos did invest huge capital in other countries and the maturity value will be for the welfare of the philippines and its people!but his removal from presidency seems tricky and might had some hidden interest for this wealth certificates!i think this requires more investigations to find out the motives of the person or country who did such scenarios in the philippine politics!i think this is broader sides than looking the anomalies of the present regimes of a woman president cause the root cause will be pinpointed and the involved persons, institutions or countries will be revealed including their motivations, desires and interest!(if you want something new and real dont remove this question!)

Isnt it funny how right wing americans are so afraid of letting people talk?

I got violation notices for saying the US has torture camps. Just pointing out reality is so frightening to them!

I have no doubt they will try to get this removed as well!

How hilarious! What scared little kittens these right wingers are. They can't face the light of day!

Have americans faced this kind of ludicrous censorship as well?

We don;'t have anything as preposterious up here, thankfully. In Canada people are actually allowed to express their views. And no one up here would ever DREAM of trying to defend torture. Makes me glad Im not an american, I tell you!

Take a look at this Q&A and you'll see what I mean. I was quite surprised by a lot of the postive reactions it received.

I understand were all tired and frustrated of illegal immigration. All the pro-illegal rallies waving foreign flags, the government not doing a damn thing about it, amnesty attempts, no end in sight, etc.

I just never thought it would come to the point were people would be cheering and wooting to the idea of putting snipers across the border.

Here's a quote from Bush:

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."

He said this on 3/13/02, only 6 MONTHS after the 9/11 attacks! I guess this quote proves that Bush never placed much importance on getting justice for 3,000 people who were burned to death.

In the New York Times today, there was an article about how Obama came up with a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to levels it had been in 1990. He wants businesses to pay for greenhouse gases they emit by buying allowances to pollute. If he is elected, by 2050, he wants to reduce emissions to 80 percent below the levels of 1990. However, this has come after criticism of him supporting Bush's bill energy bill in 2005 and advocating Illinois' coal industry. If elected, do you think Obama would really strive to acheive this goal, or is it another empty promise aimed to gather support of voters?

I read the news everyday before work. For the past 2 years, I read an embarassing, angushing (or otherwise hilarious--as in most Bushisms) headline in their honor.
I can't help but wonder whether they either 1) try to screw up or 2) are driven by other concealed motives and embarassing headlines are simply the byproduct of these motives.
Furthermore, how could any well informed american with a functioning nervous system support them?

I'll try to make this short. We were buying a house to rent, with no contract, only receipts saying the balance. The owner kept saying he would get a contract but never did. We have no contract or lease. Anyway he raised the rent from 400.00 to 500.00 and said if we can't afford it to move out. So we are moving out. How long legally do we have to move out? We live in Illinois. No eviction notice either, not as of yet. He will also keep our deposit. Can anyone tell me how long? Thank-you...Dianne

Yes, technically all illegal aliens are criminals but ICE said they were targeting gang members and other criminals (illegal aliens that committed crimes other than sneaking in). So what do I also hear during the news report? That "immigrant rights" groups think this is unfair. I don't understand why everyone isn't in favor of deporting gang members, violent criminals, thieves and serial DUI offenders. Can anyone explain this to me? What am I missing here?
