We would need more data to decide what the warrant would have to say. Is it to search a suspects house? What?
The basic format is first the hero sheet, which is the background and training of the officer. Next the a layout of the facts that lead to the location where a search is requested, the probable cause statement. Lastly is the warrant it self, which basically says, that the police are 'Ordered' to search a location, a car, a boat, etc. Hope that helps.

Actually, search warrants are simple. Well, at least they're simple compared to the affidivat needed to get a search warrant. Here's a direct link to search warrant samples that you can pick from to view:

And yes, search warrants can be about armed robbery. The important information on a search warrant is where the police can search. The search warrant must be "specific" to what they're looking for and the area they are allowed to search. For example, if they're looking for a stolen refrigerator, the search warrant can't include places where a stolen refrigerator can't possibly be - like in a drawyer or in a box under a bed. But if they're looking for something small, like a gun, they can look anywhere a gun can be hidden - such as in drawyers, cereal boxes (yes, people have hidden guns in cereal boxes before), under the furniture, etc.
And the search warrant has to be specific to the area to be searched. For example, if the probable cause in the affidavit shows that there is a fair probability that the item is in X's house, then the warrant can only specify a search of X's house. They can't go searching your parents' house or your best friend's house, the place where you work, etc.

Uve gotta be kidding...theres nothing simple about a search warrant...they are signed by a judge and im sure have a seal on them. U just dont find search warrants...if u have a problem where someone has stolen something from u & u wanna search their residence to see if u can find it then u are sh*t outta luck! My suggestion is u use reverse psychology and make them think u already know (maybe have an eye witness) and try to convince them 2 return it or your "eye witness" is willing to go along with you to the police station to file charges. They will be forced to make a decision as 2 whether they should believe u or take a chance on going 2 jail. Chances are, youll get ur stuff back!
