The two most underrated, but the best, military commanders that the United States ever produced were Winfield Scott and George Marshall.

Scott had probably the best military mind, defeating the Mexican Army in 1948. Marshall built the American military that won the Second World War.

it's a tie between robert e. lee and ulysees s. grant.

if not for their actions after the war, the american nation never would have become what it is.

speaking only about US commanders- washington, grant, sherman, pershing, patton, halsey, morton, king, lemay. lee maybe but IMHO he's overrated. forgot stonewall jackson.

fdr did a much better job militarily speaking than bush. for example, fdr did not invade the wrong country.

does the military teach you that hitler declared war on the US BEFORE fdr declared war on germany?

or do they prefer you to be ignorant zombies?
