I read the news everyday before work. For the past 2 years, I read an embarassing, angushing (or otherwise hilarious--as in most Bushisms) headline in their honor.
I can't help but wonder whether they either 1) try to screw up or 2) are driven by other concealed motives and embarassing headlines are simply the byproduct of these motives.
Furthermore, how could any well informed american with a functioning nervous system support them?

Well, Henry, they do say that if you leave a monkey at a keyboard long enough, he'll write "War and Peace" eventually.
Unfortunately, we've allowed OUR monkey (or chimp, if you will) to remain at his "keyboard" for far too long...not that he should ever been GIVEN the theoretical keyboard. Now, if only our chimp and his band of orangutans would do something---ANYTHING---against what comes naturally to them, they just might accomplish something besides havoc.

I think its some of both 1 and 2, although they wouldn't think of it as trying to screw up, but rather as sticking it to the other party. The end result is the same of course. When a party goes to such enormous lengths to obstruct what the other party is trying to do, even when it's what the majority of the people want in some cases, you might as well just say they're trying to screw things up.

I can easily tell you read the "news" every day. It is the ONLY way you could draw that conclusion.
The 'news" is DESIGNED to be critical and negative to convince all readers that there is nothing right about America. It is their agenda.
Following the principle that "even a stopped clock is right twice a day", it would be impossible for the government to be wrong ALL the time (unless they were deliberately TRYING with GREAT efficiency) and so the "news" has to be giving you carefully edited data to create that illusion.
Who says the "MEDIA" isn't biased?

Me and my family sleep in peace at night. I also don't have to worry about my kids being killed because of some religious difference. There's no trash on the streets in my neighborhood, all of our utilities like sewer and water are functioning properly, decent roads, and the right to support whatever politician I want to. I don't see the problem.

I agree. And the silly liberals want to turn over our health care to these bozos. I think that is a real bad idea. And if you think Bush is bad, study up on Jimmy Carter.

At one time the people in government cared about the people, now all they care about is the power.
