Today as it was a nice day where I live I was sitting outside my flat with my boyfriend. My cat was running around doing cat things when a woman walking her two dogs decided to let them off to chase my cat (she obviously didnt see me). The dogs chased my cat under a car and one of them (they were both terriers) was biting his back legs and tail. I pulled the dogs off as this woman just stood there and watched. I was screaming at her to get her dogs back on their lead and she was just saying that dogs were always off their leads round there.

The dogs then chased my cat into my block and one of the dogs peed to mark its territory.

The woman did nothing. I told her I was going to call the pound and she told me I had no right to do that.

What can I do legally as I am not having this woman set her dogs on my cat each time he is out.

Two back to back Presidents of the United States who say Iraq was a threat and support the War. One Democrat & One Republican.

Or Should I listen to MoveOn.org, Al Qaida, Daily Kos, Sean Penn and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who say the war is 'illegal' and blame America?

(CNN) -- 2004 -- Former President Clinton has revealed that he continues to support President Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq but chastised the administration over the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison.

"People can quarrel with whether we should have more troops in Afghanistan or internationalize Iraq or whatever, but it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks of biological and chemical weapons."

My friend got mixed up in a fraud conspiracy thing 12 yrs ago in the casino where he worked in england but moved to Italy to visit family before the police ever questioned him. The other two went to magistrates then to high court, got 400 fine each. The amount scammed from the customers was only 50quid,but the gaming board prosicuted anyway. This was back in 1995.
My friend has been back to the uk since and funnily enough on one trip back in 2002 he got stopped for speeding and because he was returning back to italy the police explained they had to arrest him to bring the court date forward for the speeding offence, nothing was said about what happened in 1995.
Does this mean the original case was closed and hes not on the list as his name wouldve come up when he was arrested and interviewed for the speeding offence????
He wants to move back to england but doesnt want to look over his shoulder over something stupid he did 12 years ago.

On Sunday breakfast TV Cameron condemed the BNP as racists but would not approach the subject of immigration he then went on to give his proposals about helping the marriage and the family. Guess what? almost identical policy to the BNP but this is one of those policies acording to many of you the BNP don't have but have had for many a year. Is Cameron now a racsist and is it right to steal your oppositions policies from under their nose Lets face it cameron is a tart and an embarasment like Blair. Look what Blair did and cameron will follow.

So I called back, a total of three times. At all these times the lady I needed to speak to was busy. The last time I left a message with someone, they said she'd call back shortly. it was 1 in the afternoon when I left the message, now it is the 10:30 the following morning. Should I wait, call back, put in another application...? This is really stressing me out! I need the job :(

Why do the illegal sympathizers always whine about families being broken up when we deport illegals (in fact criminals) from this country and yet appear to be alright with the fact that families are broken up in much the same manner when one or both parents are sent to jail/prison for the commission of crimes ? The cause and effect are identical, a parent or both commit a crime, they're caught and either sent back to their country of origin or placed in a corrections facility.

Whether you are Scottish, English, Irish, French, Chinese, Korean or Guatemalan we don’t care if you come to America as long as you come here legally, come here to work and don’t come here to break our laws & contribute to civil chaos.

The primary reason for concern over illegal immigration is the concern over Islamic terrorists & national security.

Equally important are the disproportionate crime rates.

Every other issue is secondary although still relevant.

Can someone explain to me if the NY child support laws are applied statewide, or are they county by county, or are they just applied at the whims of the judges and SCU workers? For example: One man loses his job and asks for a reduction in his payments. This is granted. Another man loses his job, asks the same thing, and is told no, to have his wife pay the support. A woman asks for an increase in her payments after 5 years of receiving the same amount and is told no. Another woman recieves an automatic increase each year without even asking for it. Can someone help? I would love to hear from current or former SCU workers especially.

Deaths among American forces and Iraqi civilians fell dramatically last month to their lowest levels in more than a year, according to figures compiled by the U.S. military, the Iraqi government and The Associated Press. The decline signaled a U.S. success in bringing down violence in Baghdad and surrounding regions since Washington completed its infusion of 30,000 more troops on June 15.

Curious to hear the liberal spin on this and why this is all somehow bad!

Was it naive of me to think hope or expect that I would get a reply other than:
On behalf of President Bush, thank you for your correspondence.

We appreciate hearing your views and welcome your suggestions.

Due to the large volume of e-mail received, the White House cannot
respond to every message.

Thank you again for taking the time to write.

Is it absurd to expect a response?

Peter Lynch never imagined that pulling a Mexican flag from a university flagpole and ripping it apart would thrust him into the center of a nationwide argument. Lynch, a University of New Mexico student and Air Force veteran, said he was angry on Sept. 17 when he saw the Mexican flag flying without the United States flag, a violation of flag etiquette. "I was livid with the situation, and it wasn't the fact that it was the Mexican flag," said Lynch, 30. "It was the fact that it was any foreign banner." UNM police charged Lynch with misdemeanor criminal damage to property. Lynch and the university concede that the incident resulted from miscommunication— someone simply failed to take down the Mexican flag when the U.S. flag was lowered. But it obviously touched a nerve, sparking strong reaction from both sides.Belshaw: Apology Should Be the End of Flag Flap Email comments Local talk show lines were flooded with calls, blogs were abuzz, letters and e-mails poured into the Journal and hundreds of motorcyclists are making plans to rally on Oct. 7, the day of UNM President David Schmidly's inauguration. Was it an act of patriotism or an act of hate?

“But why should any forgeign flag fly at a U.S. University for any reason?”Indeed that is the question.Unless this is Mexico why would we be celebrating Mexican Independence Day?

The State of Missouri has started a Vietnam War Medallion Program. To get it, all you have to do is submit a form and a copy of a DD 214, which is very easy. I'm not one for medals and certificates and all that jazz so I was not going to apply. But now I'm under preasure from my sons and my daughter because they say they want it to keep it within the family archives to show their kids and grand-kids. They have since enlisted some of my friends to help them with the arguement. I tell them all that the medallion and $ .50 just might get me a cup of coffee. Besides, I have a couple of shoe boxes full of that kind of crap and no one has taken interest in any of it until now. I have the form and my 214 is in my safety deposit box. Am I being a hard head or a "stubborn old goat" as one son put it?

I suppose the ones who support you, the majority of American civilians are called the silent majority, because we don't have an avenue from media, like Liberals, and actors do. But, we're here, and saying thank you, and we love you. I need you to know this. I don't want y'all to go on thinking, due to Liberal media, that most American's are against our causes, your duties, or don't love you. I could never allow that. I am doing everything within my power to support y'all, and turn any tide, that any Liberal might want to re-live another Vietnam, so I had to ask you wonderful folks this question.

I love you with all the heart I've got, and thank you guys, and gals for being you!

God Bless you, and America!

First I think that Seat Belts are a GREAT thing, I would never drive a car (Which is My RIGHT...not a priveldge as the bureaucrats love to tell us) without one. ALL children should be required to wear a seat-belt.

Here's the Problem: This is nothing but a protect-me-from-myself law that raises millions of dollars each year...in my State alone they STOLE from Americans 53.2 MILLION in fines. LISTEN or you'll miss this: Insurance rates continued to climb at 3.2% as they have done for the past 45 years...ZERO Change...AUTO wrecks are down in my State 1.4%, fatalities as up 1.2% as they they do EVERY YEAR even before they enacted Seat-Belt laws........NOTHING HAS CHANGED...can you hear me..NOTHING>>>....EXCEPT one thing..52 MILLION DOLLARS.............52 MILLION DOLLARS.....52 MILLION they took in in FINES.........SEAT BELT LAWS DON'T WORK...GUESS who making the BIG MONEY????

Folks wear your belt it's common sense...if you need BIG-BROTHER to prtect you...Don't Drive!

By someone on here called "Bad Mother Rucker" because apparently "Rucker" is a rugby term and "no Welsh person would fail to know what it meant". As I did not recognise the term I "cannot be Welsh".

Because, of course, every Welsh person is a rugby fanatic just like every Scot eats Haggis and every Irish person likes to drink too much.

Where do these people get off with their stupid stereotypes?!?!?

For "Bad Mother Rucker's" information yes I am from Wales, born in Newport, lived in Cardiff most of my life, currently living up the valleys. I'd even post my address and ask him/her round to visit if I could be bothered!!

Sorry I just found this really amusing! Yes I know this post will get deleted but couldn't resist.

Anyone else failing to live up to their stereotypes? Aussies who don't wear a hat covered in corks?! Americans who don't eat McDonalds?! Come on you know you're out there . . .
