You bet. That's why I'm a libertarian! Republicans and Democrats are just two sides of the same coin, my friend.

The only member of Congress to get expelled in many years was a Democrat: Jim Traficant of Ohio, expelled by his colleagues in the House in 2002 -- expelled for being a convicted felon.

Yes. There are only two ways to fix the problem. One is to balance power between the two parties so that neither has control of both houses and the white house. The other is to involve other parties--however, the two parties have done everything they can to stop this from happening.

I explain it this way....

Democrats lie about grand promises that are hard to keep; like college education, health-care and housing for all.

Republican lies are bait and switch tactics where they promise you one thing, but deliver another; like tax cuts for those who "need it most" was a tax cut for the rich, or war in Iraq was necessary to eliminate WMD turned out to be for oil instead.

The Democrats are trying to make the nation better, but it's a tall order.

The Republicans are just fleecing a nation.

Ralph Nader is correct, however, that we have a two party duopoly in the U.S. We have one party with two names. The left constantly has to pull the Democrats back from the right because crony capitalist money has corrupted our political system.

1)Yes the democrats are politicians and, therefore, posessed of ambiguous moral temper.

2)Yes the republicans are poiticians and, therefore, posessed of ambiguous moral temper.

3) HOWEVER it is the Republicans that claim that their ambiguous moral temper is of a "higher moral standard" more similar to "community family values" than the stinking, rotten Democrats.

4) it's easy to talk the talk. It is hard to walk the walk. Those who talk the talk but fail to walk the walk while condemning those who do neither are hypocrites at best and demogogues at worst.
