I can only think of one reason. For ex. to maintain a lower military presence. What other reasons do private security firms do the jobs that the military can do? If the military is not trained to perform security detail and private security firms provide better protection for US personnel than i am all for it...

Just like Sen. Kerry in the last presidential run, HIllary seems to show the same traits. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wn_report/2007/09/28/2007-09-28_hillary_flipflop_on_torture_inspired_aft.htmlThe main one being her inability to make a decision and stick with it. And like Kerry, she chooses any side that will bring in the most votes.

We need a president who can make decisions and stand his/her ground, even when the decision in unpopular. Does anyone agree?

In 2002 Senator Clinton voted to authorize President Bush to do what was necessary to unseat Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein
AS a member of the Armed Services Committee after visiting Iraq in 2005 said U.S. withdrawal from Iraq would be a mistake.
In 2007 she voted in favor of a war spending- that required Bush to begin withdrawing the troops.
On June 19, 2007 Clinton told a union audience that she favored keeping some troops in Iraq "to protect our interests."

The following day, she told an anti-war gathering she wants the troops withdrawn from Iraq! On that day she dazzled the "Take Back America" conference by declaring: "We're going to end the war in Iraq and finally bring our troops home."

Then on the debates she states, " Who knows what we will inheirit?" Her stance on her own website is withdrawal of some of the troops, but some will have to remain to keep an eye on Al-quaeda and to keep Iran at bay.

He shows all the signs. Empty stare, rambling answers, quivering head while talking, etc...
My fear is that Hillary is playing him. She pads the crowd with her supporters pretending to be his. She hopes to trick this old fool into believing he actauly has a chance so he runs as an independent and spilts the Republican party. It's the "Ross Perot" play right out of Bill's hand book.

In her book "It Takes a Village," Hillary Clinton wrote that the "lowest paid German worker" makes more than the "lowest paid American worker."

Right.

But only if the definition of a "worker" is someone who actually has a job.

They have a higher price floor on labor in Germany - a higher mandatory minimum that you must pay a "worker" - - meaning anyone whose labor is worth below that amount doesn't get a job, thus isn't a "worker."

That is why they have twice our rate of unemployment in Germany - CONSISTENTLY twice our rate of unemployment - even though we import poor and unskilled immigrants into our workforce every year at a much faster pace than Germany does.

Their "lowest paid worker" makes more but only because they take another 5% of low-paid workers and freeze them out of a job, thus they're not workers - all the people making $0 simply don't count! If they did, it wouldn't be a true statement!

I applied for a postion that I have over 4 years of experience in. The interview went well (one of the managers said that I would be a perfect fit for their team). She told me someone will call or email to tell me the next step. Well I am pregnant and I let them know that. I recieved an email stating ..."At this time, we are unable to offer you a position." They are holding another job fair next week. IS this discrimination?
