I applied for a postion that I have over 4 years of experience in. The interview went well (one of the managers said that I would be a perfect fit for their team). She told me someone will call or email to tell me the next step. Well I am pregnant and I let them know that. I recieved an email stating ..."At this time, we are unable to offer you a position." They are holding another job fair next week. IS this discrimination?

You can't say for sure. They don't have to give you a reason. Or they can make one up. It's up to them who they hire/fire.
However, they probably didn't hire you for that reason. Most companies feel that to hire a woman who is married and in "child bearing years" is also not great, cause then they lose them and have to hold their job for them. SO in your case, why hire you to begin with.

Just think of it this way: Would you want to work for a place like that?????

the person you say had good remarks about you, most likely, has no authority to hire, and the Owner or Personnel managed found that you were not right to fill the companies needs.
sorry, good luck

Yes, but if you asked them "why" they would give you some other lame excuse. I always tell people that if you're in the early stages of pregnancy, don't tell them you're pregnant. They don't want to hire some one who will get 6wks leave after having a baby.

While you have no proof that you were not offered the job because of your pregnancy, even if you were it is not ILLEGAL discrimination.

Therefore, you have no basis for a lawsuit.
