A "modern, caring society?" It's because of economic freedom that we no longer live in caves.

Planksheer why should we reverse the tax cuts? For starters, tax revenue has skyrocketed, and the share of the total taxes paid by the top 1%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 25% or 50% - wherever you want to draw the line - has gone UP!
And what do you mean "how did they earn it?" Same way anyone earns money in a free society - by selling something to a willing buyer at a price that buyer willingly paid.

The ones who take what someone else earned.
Aren't they called thieves to steal because they envy , (and lack) ingenuity and ambition? These are the ones who are truly greedy.
If it is earned either by the guy who takes home a paycheck or the corporation that gives people the job, it is not greed.
The individual who keeps his own money gives to chairities even more with the tax cuts, and the corporation is able to hire more people and expand operations.
Those of us that earn should give to the needy. The disabled, the elderly, but not those capable of caring for themselves
How could that be construed greed? I think it should be called freedom of choice.

You human beings do not seem to appreciate the subjects with the interest "earn." One man or woman over right here, as an occasion, "earns" $15 an hour doing instruction manual hard artwork for a county government highway branch. This different man or woman "earns" $15 an hour welding areas for lawnmowers on an assembly line. This man or woman "earns" $10 an hour for ending up janitorial responsibilities mandatory to the functioning of a college or place of work construction. yet this different man or woman "earns" $six hundred an afternoon for giving 2 or 3 human beings criminal suggestion and doubtless sitting by using a courtroom consultation or 2 in a business enterprise healthful. Is the quantity of training the reason for this disparity? definitely not. those with Ph.D.s in almost each undertaking attend as much as, if not greater, college than docs and attorneys. Firefighters carry out responsibilities merely as "existence-saving" by using fact the main experienced coronary heart scientific expert and gets a commission probable one-10th the quantity. Our gadget has became the interest "earn" right into a marginally huge undertaking.

Both are examples of greed. The person that has and does not want to share degrades society. Those that do not have and want to take without working for it hurt those who are truly in need.

I don't think it's greed when I'd rather keep money I worked very hard to get instead of sending it to a crackhead that someone in Washington thinks "needs our support", but that's just me.

And how did they earn it? We ought to stop the Bush tax cuts and re instate taxes as they were prior to 2000.
I am thinking the wealthiest are the more grreedy.
Chances are they are Republicans too.

It is not greed when you want to keep what you earn to support your family. It is ethics. When you want what someone else has earned and try to get it, that is greed.
eg Halliburton, Cheney, Bush.
