That is one thing I really admire about the frogs.
The number of times we have protested and had any sort of victory could be counted on one hand.
We should demonstarte about the EU, immigration, taxes and other important matters, but we never do.
If there is anything that really annoys me, is protesters who shout, "What do we want? and then "When do we want it". How childish can they get.
At least when the frogs protest, there is usually a Renault or two gets BBQd. and they make their feeling felt.

Because we're actually controlled by the Government.
The hours we work and the attempt to actually scratch a living prevent any spare time being available to lift our heads up out the quagmire and take notice of what is happening around us.
The Government like it that way and we accept it as the norm mainly because we know no other way of existing.
I love the looks of sympathy I receive when explaining to relations in Croatia how many hours I need to work and at what age I will retire - especially when they work a 35 hour week and retire after 30 years. Can you ever imagine this sweatshop adopting the same - I can't.

Yes, you are right, I now live in France and the politicians here actually listen to the people. It just shows our apathy in Britain towards politics and politicians. The Politicians, and in particular the loony left have succeeded, they are in total control, and can do what ever they like. People have given up, Britain is a shambles, and is unrecognisable from a decade or two ago. This apathy is irreversible and so people, like me, are leaving in their droves,. The last one out, turn off the lights !

You seem to conveniently forget the 15th of February 2003.
Eventually that protest got rid of a certain PM.

The greedy are content, the lazy are....just lazy and others just are either too ignorant or simply too tired/busy. And regarding one of your other questions, we do not live in a real democracy...there is and never has been such.

Because we are too selfish to help others, full of our own importance and too bone assed lazy! I think the word used to disguise this is apathy!

Marching in the streets is always a bad idea. If you have something to protest, write to your elected officials.

Who are 'the frogs'? Sounds like some sort of racist thing. Are you going to talk about 'jocks', 'micks', and 'taffs' next? Maybe have a few comments about 'spics' and 'eyeties'?
Get a life. This is the 21st century.
