In business, the greatest asset of all is the people that perform work that brings value to the organization. Without people, no work could be done, simple as that, really. Does government not have a roll in investing in America's greatest asset, her people?

Now you know why Mr. Bush's administration was diverting you with talk of 'wars OF terror'......

WASHINGTON, Sept 27 (Reuters) - With the U.S. government fast approaching its current $8.965 trillion credit limit, the Senate on Thursday gave final congressional approval of an $850 billion increase in U.S. borrowing authority.

The Senate voted 53-42 to raise the debt ceiling to $9.815 trillion, the fifth increase in the U.S. credit limit since President George W. Bush took office in January 2001. The U.S. House of Representatives approved the higher debt limit earlier this year as part of the overall budget resolution and the legislation now goes to Bush for his signature.

"We have no choice but to approve it. If we fail to raise the debt ceiling soon, the U.S. Treasury will default for the first time in its history," said Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus.

U.S. debt stood at about $5.6 trillion at the start of Bush's presidency.

-The useful idiot is any person who acts in a way which unwittingly promotes political interests which are opposed to his own political ideals.-

Is researching the voting records and history and possibly facing the ugly realities of “your” candidate the antithesis of being a Useful Idiot?

Will you please join me in not being a useful Idiot?

I noticed that every time I went through security over the last year and a half (which was several times), I got pulled over to the side to be further checked. After awhile, I started wondering how random it really was. The reason I felt weird about it is because some people think I resemble a Middle Eastern female in my facial features (though I'm not), and sometimes I noticed people staring at me in line.

So, is it proven that the random screenings are really random, or can they just say that when they ask you to step over to the side?

Thanks...

I would love that every child born in the USA get $5,000 but is Hillary going to fund it? I like how she voices these ideas but has no clue how to fund it or any type of plan! Why say it then. Shutup until you have a working plan, this reminds me of her first insurance idea for the gov't!! Why would anyone vote for this ridiculous woman? Do you seriously think that giving $5,000 will help children go to college? I think it will help them pay for drugs and alcolhol, I mean if they don't want to go to school they won't!

The working class no longer charged itself for borrowing money like it does now .
Only people who have money benefit from interest .
The only way they got money was to collect it from working people as a fee for showing them how to perform a routine task over and over that they continue to profit from .

Everyone who is rich has profited from the workers because alone the Ford family could only make a dozen cars a year .
But by showing a few people how to make a car they where able to become billionaires and in the process share the wealth with other people who had lots of money to invest .

SO its simple ELIMINATE INTEREST and save the poor working man from 6% on home loans which amounts to $8000. a year to 12% -25% on consumer goods like clothing and and other Items purchased on credit .

That credit is the work of others being produced and the profits from which all go to the so called investors who take huge profits out of the work and credit they willingly provide .

How would that make you feel?

If you knew that 9/11 was set up and staged by a dark circle of rich elite families and that they did it just to start Middle East wars and to take away our Constitutional freedoms - wouldn't that piss you off!

If you knew that these same evil circle of people formed an organization called Blackwater in order to kill and round up patriotic American people in the event of Martial Law and a Revolution wouldn't that make you really angry!

If you knew that Saddam asked for $1 billion dollars to walk away from Iraq and turn control over to America before we invaded - wouldn't that tick you off that we could have saved one trillion American tax dollars wasted on a failed war and saved ourselves from one of the biggest blunders in military history?

What if the new gun laws passed were really just an effort to take away protection from citizens in order to make it easier for Blackwater to control us when they start rounding people up- that make you mad

I got a ticket for speeding in a residential area a couple of months ago, and the officer wrote down my speed on the ticket as 25 in a 25mph zone, so I thought he was just giving me a warning (I'd misplaced my registration). Two days before my court date, I get a correction saying that I was cited for going 41mph. Then on my court date, he doesn't show and never filed my ticket into the system. I know he has a year to do this now, but can I get out of this? I'm tired of being jerked around by this guy.

Ok, I'm confused. I thought that Burma was now Myanmar. But Bush recently kept refering to Burma. (Which I ignored because, well, this is Bush we're talking about...) And then I heard people on BBC radio America refering to the crisis in Burma. Hence the confusion.

So, which is it? Myanmar or Burma?

We could fund some semblance of health care with all the money they raise.
Someone set the record straight.
Why do they need so much money? and
what do they do with it?
what happens to the money they do not spend?
