That if every American troop or embassy did not exist in other countries (like if we left and had absolutely no presence there) then would the World would be a joyous, happy, loving, wonderful and caring place? and we would all love each other and sing songs while holding hands and dancing in a circle? Seriously though, no name calling (either side), just a serious answer... If America had no presence in other countries, would the world be at Peace? once again, dont act like 5 year olds and name call.... PLEASE!

We have TOO much FREEDOM & we take advantage of EVERYTHING we push EVERYTHING to the limit w/ NO REGARD to anyone but ourselves & WHAT WE CAN DO TODAY. It's a shame really b/c we really used to be a damn good country

I'm 16 and I've been pulled over twice. They always say that I was driving "questionably" late at night. I'll be coming home from a party ( Not drunk or under the influence of anything ;D ) and I get pulled over and have to do the whole sobriety test. They police are never mean to me, so I don't really have a BIG problem about it.. I just get home late and it's hard to explain why I got pulled over when I was driving the speed limit and "10&2" the entire way. Can they pull you over just.. because? Haha I'm pretty goofy sometimes so maybe they think I'm tipsy or something?

Well, to get to the point, Somebody I work with had a very rare Army magnet stolen off of her husband's truck. It's hard to describe it b/c I only saw it a few times. But what I do know is that it' s a circle, camo background that looks like the new Army uniforms (not the old looking camo), it was about 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, you can't just buy them anywhere...and that's about all I know about it. I have looked it up on e-Bay, and all over yahoo, and I can't find one that matches the description. I feel awful that some low down person could steal it right off the back of her husband's brand new Dodge 1500. He just got back from Iraq about 11 months ago, and the truck and magnet were a "gift" for him as he got back into the USA. All I know is that he's a "Fuel GI" and I'm not sure what that means, but some of you may know. All I am asking is do you know how to get a magnet that is exactly the same? It would mean the world to his wife if we could find one! PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm applying to law schools this fall, and I wanted to slightly fudge my job position to make it sound more managerial and as if I have more responsibility. I wouldnt be lying, per se, because it would still be with the same company and the job title I plan on using is in the same ballpark as the real one, though it just isn't the official title.

I mean, whenever you go onto the politics section, all you see is stuff like "Bush Is an idiot!"
What made you so prejudiced against Him?
I know this is probably the 500th time this has been asked but I really want to know. I'm not looking for an argument and if you are out for one please don't answer this. Also I would like answers with something to back them up. Not something like "because he's a jerk!!" I want REAL answers with a reason why you think that way!!
I personally think that Bush has faced the most extreme things a president can face, ie, a war, and also half his country deserting him and basically saying that the enemy is in the right.
He has had to make so very tough decisions and I think that he decided the right way to go... to fight even though he has so much opposition, even from his own country.
Come on people, support your president!!

I NEVER considered myself dem or rep. Now you have to choose one b/c it is so divided & a person is for EVERYTHING or a conservative. My question is what happend to way things were 20/30 years ago? We are in AMERICA. Christmas & EASTER are American Holidays something we looked forward to at school, the parties, the gifts & just what Christmas mean to American (most) What has really happend? With everyhting going on now... I wouldn't be surprised if one day we are over thrown by a 3rd worls country. I mean look who we let speak at Columbia University!!! How much softer & ignorant are we going to get? What happend to us? United We Stand DIVIDED WE FALL. There are laws against hiring illegal aliens, but those laws are rarely enforced.
Illegal employers pay low wages. They offer no health insurance and pay no taxes on the wages they pay their illegal employees.
We all supplement this by paying higher taxes to make up the difference when these illegals cannot pay for their medical care, and when they need food stamps and other public assistance in order to survive.
If there were fewer illegal employers there would be far less undocumented workers.
