I don't think when he invited him he planned to insult him. It was only when he heard the uproar from the Columbia University Alumni that he rethought he questions. His job is on the line. If the Alumni keep their checkbooks in their pockets over what he has done, he'll be fired and he knows it.

Your pathetic and sickening for sympathizing with a known terrorist! Last week a woman just got stoned in Iran, contradicts the liberal women's agenda don't you think?. Lee Bollinger spoke perfectly on respecting the suffering of the Jews plight.
What is really sickening is that this evil man was welcomed, and he is given freedom of speech over a christian Americans rights to speak, double standard.
The applaud from the students were both shocking and disgusting. We see who's on the side of the enemy. We have traders in our own country! The enemy lives among us now, they are our own. This is scary, and pitiful.
Such pathetic fearful heathens, you think this man will have mercy on you.

A-Jad only went to the university for propaganda. There was no sincerity in what he said. He came to the U.S. for the U.N. general assembly and his visit should have been limited to that. I wish the news media wouldn't interview him either. It served no purpose other than to make matters worse. At least he knows now that Americans are not that gullible.

neither. that's what free speech is all about. he gets to talk and spout his lies and hate, and bollinger got to introduce him, and students got to ask questions. if he can't take the heat, he shouldn't show up.

Whoa, they insulted the poor guy that threatened to wipe Israel off the map and erase Israel from the history books. Man, poor guy. All he did was echo the sentiments of Adolf Hitler. Who'd have thought Jewish people would be offended?

Would you have him pander to a terrorist and murderer?
Actually I was surprised that someone at the Columbia University of Terrorists had the spine to say anything to that scum.
