I NEVER considered myself dem or rep. Now you have to choose one b/c it is so divided & a person is for EVERYTHING or a conservative. My question is what happend to way things were 20/30 years ago? We are in AMERICA. Christmas & EASTER are American Holidays something we looked forward to at school, the parties, the gifts & just what Christmas mean to American (most) What has really happend? With everyhting going on now... I wouldn't be surprised if one day we are over thrown by a 3rd worls country. I mean look who we let speak at Columbia University!!! How much softer & ignorant are we going to get? What happend to us? United We Stand DIVIDED WE FALL. Please people look around, the congress has an 11% approval rating & they were going to do so much Gas is still $4.03 gal... highest ever & they want to raise our taxes as if our taxes our not high enough. I am not okay w/ Pres. Bush & the can worms he has opend But it is a DONE DEAL we have to get through this and WIN We have NO choice

It's called immigration. People have been coming to this country for centuries now and the only thing "America" can do is adapt to their culture.
The Government says...
Working hard? Great, here's a $8.25 an hour for you work. Bought a new house? That's great, we'll increase the federal mortgage rate to 6%. Oh that's nice, your sending 4 kids to college? Get a loan from us and we'll give you 1% of the interest rate charges back in taxes. You're making too much money working 16 hours a day, we'll have to increase federal taxes to accommodates your savings. Oh you're getting ready to retire? Social Security was abolished, so what you have in the bank is how you have to retire on. So the bank closed and you expect the Government to insure you $100,000? You need to make more than $180,000 a year, sorry.

I have to agree with Calvin F when you take God out of the equation the only answers to the problem are going to be the wrong answers and that is what has happened to our country
I can remember a time years ago when the word liberal was used mostly to describe people that smoked pot and women that didn't ware bras you know back in the free love(sex) bra burning non-bathing cult following days
my parents were Democrats in those days and still are but I remember when they would talk about those darn liberals and how they would be the downfall of us all and now look at our country and how many of those liberals are leaders and they call them self's democrats

Whose values and which morals? All the candidates talk about family values, but ALL deny that a women with children is a family. The courts give forgiveness to men who fall behind on child support, pretty automatically if the man promises to start paying again. The children suffer and the women live in poverty. They say gays can't marry, but doesn't that take away their right to live with whomever they choose?
Tell me what values you are trying to promote, and how does denying other people the same priveledges endanger those values and morals.
