There are laws against hiring illegal aliens, but those laws are rarely enforced.
Illegal employers pay low wages. They offer no health insurance and pay no taxes on the wages they pay their illegal employees.
We all supplement this by paying higher taxes to make up the difference when these illegals cannot pay for their medical care, and when they need food stamps and other public assistance in order to survive.
If there were fewer illegal employers there would be far less undocumented workers.
Agree?

I agree with most of what you said. Bottom line is if nobody hires them, they can't work.

Right now ICE is trying to do just that, and at every turn they are attacked by the Pro-Illegals in the courts. The Federal Government tried to send out notices informing employers of the rules, and what they could do to adequately check the legal status of employees, but the most liberal court in the nation (9th Circuit) put the brakes on that. And that seems to be the norm, every time someone tries to enforce the laws you have some group fighting it. But right will win in the end, and our laws will be enforced,as long as those against this mess keep fighting.

Do Arizonans sense betrayed that the police do not enforce the state regulations against adultery? no person has been waiting to strictly enforce immigration regulations in view that 1945. this is like attempting to give up a flood with a mop and a bucket. The Border Patrol are like bouncers at an unique club, attempting to maintain a flood of wrong purchasers out. people who get in by some potential are generally only bodily ejected in the event that they make a ruckus, whether the snootier contributors think of a few of them at the instant are not of their type and can have snuck in. i'm not indignant with the aid of this. i don't prefer my police to waste their time catching maids and busboys whilst there are gangsters and criminals to capture. i don't prefer my state taxes to be spent on imposing regulations that are below federal jurisdiction, any further than i prefer my federal taxes to enforce state regulations (see link) that the state does not strictly enforce. What we actually need are extra effective regulations.

Absolutely. They are just as guilty as the people coming here as illegal aliens. If we crack down on those employers, then others will think twice about who they hire.

We can help in a small way, by boycotting companies that have been caught and fined in the past. It might seem like a little thing, but if everyone does it, they'll get the message when their products or services are left sitting on a shelf.

There Are laws on the books if they are reported. Americans can also recieve a 10% reward by downloading form 3949A from irs.gov. Fill it out, make a copy and send it back to them by Certified Mail. There is a fine for each one hired!

I think they should INCREASE the penalties on top of what are on the books now. I have said it before, and I will say it again, take away what the Illegal wants or needs, and they will go home...

Yes, they should.
Also, access to free health care, food stamps, housing subsidies, free education to illegal aliens should be denied.
No jobs, no benefits and there would be far less illegal aliens through attrition.

Yes I agree...we should punish and fine noncompliant employers.

but I'm not playing "chicken or egg". More compliant employers? Less illegals here.

Less illegals here? More compliant employers.

I'm holding them both, equally 100% responsible for their own criminal behavior. I'm not declaring one or the other better or worse.

They both suck royally. Just my opinion.

Yes, the laws should be enforced. But the government needs to make sure that they enforce the laws in a constitutional way and do not trample upon anyone's civil rights, including the illegal immigrants and the employers.
