We see him making speeches in Iran and saying one thing, then he comes here and says the total opposite. (specificly about Israel and related matters). We'll see how everything plays out......hopefully he is like you say.

did you watch the interview? I believe he is a good idealist and his words have the power of change and peace for some, but it's clear that Ahmadinejad is not innocent. His actions show he will deny that peace and goodwill to people in his country because of their religious, personal, or political beliefs.

Saudi Arabia is also getting off scot-free under this administration, shameful considering they are far less tolerant and far less democratic than Iran

in response to above, Ahmadinejad is NOT ARAB... he is a Persian Muslim. That is like saying someone is Hispanic because they live in California.

Who is next? Us, if folks like you keep thinking people like the President of Iran are innocent enough to defend them in public forums.

You may not have just fallen off the turnip truck, but when you did, you must have landed on your head.

Easy answer? Because people like you think he's innocent.

Remember; Hitler was short, wore glasses, had a silly little mustache and was a smart dresser. Kind of cute too, eh?

The evidence was just aired on CSPAN. He's a vile little weasel. Really, why don't you find some transcripts of his "speech"? Even the french recognize him for what he is, why can't you?

We like to demonize because evil brings men together but it is when power is wedded to chronic fear that it becomes formidable.

Because he's a Hitler wannabe nutcase who wants nuclear weapons so he can launch them against Israel and start Armageddon.

Remember Son of Sam? He had an innocent face.

The Iranian President must be respected because he is the head of state that is co-equal with any other country. They have the same rights as other people.

Why....easy because he's smart. He won't lay down like the rest of the world. He challenges everything. America doesn't know how to handle those types of people. Who should have the audacity of challenging the American status quo? I don't feel as though all his decisions are the best but you have to be able to challenge the norm and have positive dialog with those whom you do not see eye to eye. This is our biggest problem as the world closes the gap.

Because he is involved in the killing of American soldiers and iraqi civilians in Iraq. He didn't give a straight answer when asked about this.

He is in favor of stoning women to death for relatively mild offenses, not letting them out after dark, and making them be covered from head to toe.

He helps our enemies.

He denies the Holocaust.

He denounces our way of life in America.

He hates homosexuals, kills or jails them, and then flatly lies by denying any even exist in his country...

Granted, I don't HATE him... but I certainly don't approve of his policies or his way of life (the way women are treated in his country).
