I have to right a paper on ways to respect, and thank veterans. I need ideas because i have NO idea what to talk about. My whole paper just soundslike giberish.

Also, my begining sentice in a passage from The Decleration of Independence and i feel as if that is too cliche. Do you have any better ideas for an opening sentince?

Washington Post--
Clearly, this "lawsuit" is a forgery -- and a pretty crude one at that.

No man in Rather's position would admit that he could be made to apologize for a story he believed was true. A straight-shooting newsman like Dan Rather would have resigned rather than obey an order to lie to the public.

No one in his right mind would keep insisting that those phony documents are real and that the Bush National Guard story is true.

But deep down Republicans know that they do not stand a chance at the next election so they resort to fraud, smears, and intimidation. But lets make one thing clear, there will be a black US President before there is a Republican President.

THis lady owes me and my boyfriend 320 dollars for some car we sold her about 3 weeks ago. She signed a contract with us saying that she will pay us the rest. We were selling the car for 2,750 dollars and she told us that she only had 2,400 and well my boyfriend decided that was fine...then in seconds later she told us that she only had 2,080 that she will pay us the rest in a week in a half. We have been calling her but she doesnt answer. I just dont think is fair that we were nice in giving her the car 350 dollars less and then not paying us. She had giving us 2 check that were on her name but we cant neither change them or deposit them. IF SOMEONE KNOWS AN ANSWER TO OUR PROBLEM PLEASE LET US KNOW..THANK YOU

Can I sue?

Bush's lie-based quagmire in Iraq and the GOP Congress's other pet projects have run up another TRILLION dollars of debt over the last few years.

Someone has to pay for it. Should it be the super-rich who have benefited from the GOP tax cuts and loopholes, or hard-working Americans over the next eight generations?

Is there a problem with everyone paying the same percentage tax on their income? 3,5,10 percent? Whatever it is, everyone pay the same. No limits on min or max income, straight across the board.

It’s international news that the 19-year-old was arrested in Terminal C at Logan International Airport with a fistful of Play-Doh and a circuit board attached to her hoodie, which was emblazoned with the words “Socket To Me” scrawled on the back.

She would have been even more surprised if the police - rightfully - opened fire and turned her little art project into a scene that would have made last week’s screeching from just-tasered University of Florida student Andew Meyer look like a kid being tickled.

I was reading around and heard some people say that you can't wear shirts that say Police or SWAT... is that true?

Because I know a lot of stores that sell that stuff in Texas and if it was illegal for people who aren't police officers to wear it then why do they sell it so publicly?

Even Jewish Americans will stand with Israel against their countries interest in a blink eye to suppress any true questioning for the practices Israel is conducting in the Middle East; when Israel kills children, the blame is on the parents of those children whom lift their children stand in the line of Israeli fire!!! When Israel commit all kind of atrocities against humanity in the middle east the Israeli lobby would Justify absolutely anything with any kind of excuse even this would reflect hatred to the US… why should we pay for Israel's crimes???

Constructive criticism and sometimes baseless slander of those in foreign countries is certainly plentiful amongst certain segments of American society as well as within our own government. However, some Americans foolishly believe that foreigners should have absolutely no say-so in manners regarding US gov't policy or the American way of life in general even though pushing such a consumerist lifestyle and overreaching US foreign policy can (and does) have a significant impact upon others around the world.

Is this not an obvious double-standard? Are there those that are so insecure about themselves that they cannot stand an opposing point-of-view that could potentially cast doubt upon their own deeply-held beliefs?

It popped out of Harry Reids mouth again today like he's some kind of demented parrot; "Awk, Tax breaks For the Rich, Awk!" Does this mean that the loopy left feels that success is something to be punished, or does he feel that this is ingratiating him with the people who don't want to work hard and want everything handed to they with no effort on thier part.

If you start with nothing, work long and hard, build yourself up and make a success out of yourself, aren't you living the American dream, and why does this toupeed tyrant feel that this is something to be punished? Lets face it, he's pulled some pretty shady deals to enrich himself yet I don't see him wanting his own taxes raised. Why does he want to punish others for being successful?

I just got enrolled in Tricare standard and I am SO confused. I need an ob/gyn for my annual pap smear and because we're trying to get pregnant and can't. I also need to see a doctor about getting an inhaler (i've had them all my life) before winter sets in. How on earth do I do this? I chose a civilian doctor but it just says shes a family practitioner. Surely she doesn't do pap smears? What do I do? Do I call her office and make an appointment? Will it be free? What do I pay? I'm just so lost on all of this and I tried to talk with the people at the tricare office but they basically read me my paperwork (which I didnt understand to begin with!) and when I asked questions REread the paperwork to me!! Ugh. I'm confused. Someone please break it down for me!

I quit my job due to the fact that the director of my department was becoming increasingly hostile verbally, usually involving berating every decision I made, blaming me for things she did wrong, and inventing conversations that never actually took place. The final straw was when the director repeatedly referred to Mexicans as "thieves" (which I am half Mexican) and blacks as lazy. I spoke with her 3 times about this and having gotten no where went to the head of the company.

I explained the issue to the head of the company who told me he had no idea what to do, and referred to the state of the department as "sad" and was "worried about hiring additional employees under " the current director. after another couple weeks I decided that it was time to quit, I spoke with the head of the company again who offered to transfer me to a different department, I declined due to the my degree being in the field I was currently employed.

Unwilling to replace the director, I had to quit.
