Aren't MIT students supposed to be, you know, smart? Ah, but then again, they did give tenure to that moron Professor Noam Chumpsky
September 24, 2007
It’s international news that the 19-year-old was arrested in Terminal C at Logan International Airport with a fistful of Play-Doh and a circuit board attached to her hoodie, which was emblazoned with the words “Socket To Me” scrawled on the back.
She would have been even more surprised if the police - rightfully - opened fire and turned her little art project into a scene that would have made last week’s screeching from just-tasered University of Florida student Andew Meyer look like a kid being tickled.

From the picture of her they have provided, she strikes me as a devotee of "feminist poetry" if you know what I mean

I'm willing to bet it was one of those "Everybody look at me" things. She wanted her 15 minutes of fame and she got it, stupidly, but she got it.

People get so smart they forget about reality.
All they think about is what they are working on at the time.
She looks more like a space cadet of the R&D world.
I think when people get so smart they need a handler when they go face reality.

IF looks alone could tell, than this is just a big joke to her, and some more evidence of what are nutty professor's and universities have been turning out.

They also occasionally think it's a good idea to disassemble someones car, and put it back together on the roof. Evidently genius comes parcelled with eccentricity.

Being able to attend MIT takes only intelligence, not maturity or wisdom. Apparently, she had neither one of those.

Noam Chomsky is a linguistics professor. If you've ever studied linguistics, you'd understand that his insights into that field were actually very perceptive and important. His POLITICAL writings are fairly nutty, but he is not a professor of POLITICS at MIT, he is a professor of LINGUISTICS.
Do you understand this, or not? Should I explain it slower for you?
