Seriously, how many self proclaimed liberals actually know the definition of the word "treason" without looking it up in a dictionary.

I have seen numerous questions regarding Blackwater "treason"; George Bush "treason"; General Petreus "treason".

I really want to know what liberals consider treason or how they define it.

All those unregulated private contractors flying in and out -- you want to tell me that NONE of them are taking a share of Afghanistan's $50 billion opium crop? What is Erik Prince doing (if anything) to keep his people out of the drug business?

Within an extremely short period of time, i have seen three cases of people being tasered by rowdy police officers. One, an autistic boy about to run into traffic. Another (and most rediculous if you ask me) 21 yr old in FL at a Kerry rally, gets tasered because in my opinion, he was too busy exercising his first amendment, which calls us completely legal to any words that come out of our mouth. Lastly, a woman tasered outside of a bar after being in a mini barfight. What has gotten into the law enforcement these days?

My aunt is 89 years old, she has never had a liscence before and she has no government issued pic id. She needs to get her birth certificate from TX, but they want a gov pic id, and when she goes to dmv, they tell her that they can't giver her one unless she has a birth certificate. How do we solve this? The birth certificate she has, is soo old that no one can see the writing, (it's from 1918!) It was legiable enough 35 years ago to get Social Security started. Another problem is we are in CA and we are dealing with everything over the phone in El Paso, TX. HELP!!!

I sprained my ankle while on active duty at AT two years in a row. I have LOD's for both of them. My ankle still bothers me. I would go see a civilian doctor, but I don't have any insurance. My unit says that the doctors cleared me and that if I went to see the Army doctor, they couldn't do anything for me. I never had a follow up the second time I injured it. And if it still hurts after the injury, I would think that it is still their responsibility. Does anyone know if I really have the right to see a doctor at the army's expense or at least the right to see one of their doctors. I have all the medical documents saying that I was injured on active duty.

OK, Wellstone could see through all the propaganda; others, GW Bush duped quite easily, noteably Kerry, Edwards and Hillary Clinton. We can't have it both ways, either Bush is stupid and can't fool anyone or he is highly intelligent, to have duped so many Democrats or those Democrats who he duped should not have college diplomas.

Does the government just create it out of thin air or does someone have to pay for it? Who? Can we make the Iraqis pay for it? No? Well then who?

You mean US?

But isn't that what we're doing now????

So why would that be better?

Oh, because the government could potentially, through economies of scale, produce it more efficiently?

Well two questions, (1) how come that rarely happens - is that because of the absence of competition? and (2) in order to achieve these economies of scale, wouldn't that mean less variety, hence less choice?

The government could provide us all with FOOD, in theory slightly more cheaply than the economy does now. But that would require that we all eat the same food tonight.

What if you want Mexican, I want Chinese, and someone else wants Italian? At least two of us are SOL....

But healthcare is more important? Right! So that's even MORE reason not to create a government monopoly!

And by trends I do mean plural - not only have we had an explosion of illegal immigration, but the trend, in both legal and illegal immigration over the last 25 years, has been toward less-educated, less-skilled, poorer immigrants.

Legal and illegal combined we import about a million poor people every year.

What gets my goat is the simple fact that the media reports poverty figures, median incomes, and the number of people without health insurance, without ever taking into account the influx or poor people into the country. And then Libs take this and argue that more poor people means millions of middle class people are slipping into poverty, "losing" their health insurance, or seeing their incomes rise only very slowly, or that somehow the increase in number of poor people reflects poorly on our economy therefore our economic policies.

Virtumonde is a pop-up ad generator. This thing is insidious. Once it gets on your computer, it is nearly impossible to remove and re-gnerates itself. Why should Americans have to put up with these spyware bastards putting things on our computer that diminish the value of our investment (computer) and time? The methods to remove this thing are way beyond the average user, so they must resort to wiping the system clean. This should be a crime. Is it? Is is possible to find out who the poeple or company bhind Virtumonde is? Can they fine the people who pay them "per click-through?"

When thier republican congress grew government larger than ever and the Dems have held pretty good to thier promise. Citizens Against Government Waste, in its annual "Congressional Pig Book," released this week, reports $13.2 billion in pork-barrel spending for the current fiscal year, down from $29 billion in 2006
In other words the Dems have already halfed earmark spending, truth kicks your backside doesn't it cons.
