And by trends I do mean plural - not only have we had an explosion of illegal immigration, but the trend, in both legal and illegal immigration over the last 25 years, has been toward less-educated, less-skilled, poorer immigrants.

Legal and illegal combined we import about a million poor people every year.

What gets my goat is the simple fact that the media reports poverty figures, median incomes, and the number of people without health insurance, without ever taking into account the influx or poor people into the country. And then Libs take this and argue that more poor people means millions of middle class people are slipping into poverty, "losing" their health insurance, or seeing their incomes rise only very slowly, or that somehow the increase in number of poor people reflects poorly on our economy therefore our economic policies.

Actually it reflects positively - these people keep coming here, ironically mostly from countries that run their economies the way most Libs argue we should run ours - because there is no opportunity for advancement in their former countries but plenty here.

And they DO move up - the number of poor people is increasing on average by about 1/4 the rate at which we import poor people.

People are escaping poverty in America - they're just being replaced more than 1 for 1 with new poor people.

There are not more poor Americans, just more poor immigrants coming to America.

Do what you want about them, let them stay, kick them out, make a "path" for them - but Paul Krugman dammit stop using their numbers to support utter LIES about our economy.

Gee Trouble, seems like reality again refutes you - there are still a lot of poor people worldwide, and we come into contact, indirectly, more often because in a global economy we drink the coffee made from beans they picked. But they're better off than they used to be.

Isn't that the point?

OK folks let's keep to the topic at hand - all I'm pointing out is when you import 1 million poor people while the total number of poor people goes up by 200,000, you can't let the Krugmans of the world convince people that the increase in total number of poor people means people are becoming poor - it means the opposite!!!!

Outsourcing isn't stable the two even nonetheless that's no longer unlawful. a company has the perfect to be sure on the place it is going to settlement people. i think of that's penny sensible and pound silly to have outsourced the call center jobs to India. The Indian everybody is abused and under pressure (to no longer point out no longer able to furnish stable service simply by shortcoming of coaching, paintings situations and too a strategies far off from the subject concerns interior the U.S. that make people call) and individuals as an entire, are disgusted and irritated whilst they must call and get a worker from yet another united states of america who's confusing to understand and could't clean up the subject. I switched my ISP simply by fact of that two times. what's the ingredient of tech help in the event that they're ineffective? yet i do no longer agree that the duplicate tiers interior the Western international warrant unlawful immigration. in ingredient of actuality 40,000 infants die many times happening they say simply by starvation. There are greater advantageous than sufficient people interior the international already--the aspects are in basic terms poorly disbursed. we've sufficient interior the international to feed anybody even nonetheless that's no longer nicely disbursed. for this reason we've unlawful immigration and all of those infants ravenous and absence of existence.

Well, that is one question that has so many areas to cover. ILEGAL Immigration has gotten totally out of hand; the borders are open and there is not being enough done to seal them and prosecute those who enter illegally. We need to seal the borders, build the wall, return those who get here and, instead of arresting and jailing the guards who are doing their job to the best of their ability, get more who will get the job done; hire the national guard if necessary. Next, we need to stop hiring illegals to do the work; they are everywhere in every town, they are on the streets looking for and finding work. The people who employ them need to be fined and arrested if they continue the practice. Landscapers, horse farms, domestics, etc. need to be proscecuted for breaking the laws. We have to stop the insane practice of providing health care and privileges to all of these people and their extended families when we, who work here have to pay huge amounts to get the same care for ourselves and our families. Schools and children in the schools are suffering because they have to have programs in place to teach English to all the illegal children or to the ones who have been born here and cannot speak English. We need to make the people who come here for a better life, remember that the language spoken here is English, and that they need to try to learn it. We have to not do as NYC has done and give the illegals driving licenses; we also have to not even consider giving them social security after being here only 18 months (which is an outrageous proposal which is being considered.) We have to deport the illegals who are arrested for crimes, which are definitely on the rise.

Listen, I understand that there are many people who have applied to come to our Country legally and that is acceptable to me but, if you want to come here, do it the right way.

I am tired of struggling with three jobs so my family can make ends meet and meeting some very nice people who happen to be illegals, who are getting every service provided for them which I cannot afford for my family. I resent it very much. They can be the nicest people in the world but, they are breaking the law. I cannot get away with breaking the law, so why is it acceptable for them?
We are losing our rights rapidly and this Country is turning into something I don't even recognize. We need to do something now!!! The Liberals and the Democrats, who are alway sympathetic to the needs of the poor without thinking of the consequences of all the freebies they are providing are dooming our future. We are paying much too high a price for this insanity.

The only part about the immigrations trends I dislike is the amount of illegal immigration into the United States - otherwise I don't have a problem with immigration and what countries immigrants are coming from.

Good Luck!!!

There needs to be MAJOR immigration reform done NOW!
Both for illegal and legal.

If we aren't careful the entire U.S. is going to look like Manhattan every where.

Our resources aren't endless.
Libs like immigration yet at the same time cry about our natural resources being plundered.
Kind of like libs crying about energy independence yet scream against nuclear power plants or domestic drilling.

Liberalism is full of oxymoron's.

Slave labor built this empire of billionaires . only 1% of the billionaires are self made . The rest are from fortunes made under slavery and well managed I might add . Some of the industrialists fortunes have been squandered away but much remains and is in the hands of foundations and attorneys who have increased the value of these estates over time .
A law firm can take in millions in fees from managing the assets of the wealthy who often do not want relatives who are weak God fearing Christians to get a hold of it and squander it by leaving it to the churches .

Bottom line we need millions of workers deprived of a dollar an hour or more in some cases to engorge the pockets of the ruling elite .

Don't bring the Third World over here.
If you're a minority, and you want more of your own race in high positons in the USA, then why don't you move to where your race is 99% of the population?
