...uh, "uneducated" people out there than I had ever known about before.

Do you think it's because of our water?
Is it because of our essentially nutrition-less diet?
Is it because of our sedentary lifestyle?
Is it because of the addiction to computers instead of reading books?
Is it because the kids don't go to the library like we did when I was a kid?

Why? What is it? Why had the overal intellect of Americans declined at such an alarming rate?

The former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India S. P. Bharucha had suggested that up to 20 per cent of judges in India were corrupt. But this is applicable to the judiciary system of the country as a whole from lower courts. Is it true that the judges of Supreme court and High Courts of India are also corrupt. Has anyone such experience ?

Voted not to give them 6 more weeks of break between tours of duty in Iraq. Vet funding down the drain. Making our military pathetic pawns for Oil Companies and private contractors who order our military around. Pathetic.

It would appear that according to some the USA should let these terrorists and dictators have their way. This in my opinion results from a false sense of security,.as if terrorism is something that was dreamed up,.and doesnt really exist. what do you think?

According to the New York Times, there is an epidemic of cholera in Iraq. The virus (or bacteria) that causes the disease doesn't care whether you are an Iraqi or an American. If an American soldier serving in Iraq catches the disease, he will inevitably bring it to the US. How can we prevent that from happening?

And before anyone states that I am being racist, I personally thought that it was tasteless for that person to behave in that way.

BUT, he was not going to hang anyone and to me the noose is just part of the US's history. In the western states that is how justice was carried out. Yes, I know that the KKK used it for their BS, but people wearing a white pointed hate isn't against the law.

My big beef with this is the fact that we are already on a slippery slope and where will it stop? Where we as US citizens have NO rights? Look at what happened with that student and John Kerry. IF you look at the extend video you see a student asking questions and then cops coming from no where and telling him to leave. Wow, didn't know asking questions was against the law either.

POLICE STATE ANYONE!?

I was watching 'Commando:on the front line' the other evening and one of the first demonstrations the new recruits were subjected to was a burly tattooed marine demonstrating how to have a shower.
Happily, during my days in the Guards some years ago we weren't subjected to such sights.

right for a U.S. citizen to own and use a gun?

If God won't take you, remind him that he has been overruled by the Constitution of the United States. Even God can't fight the Constitution.

The United States Rules. God Follows. (As it has been ever since the U.S. found it could use religion to justify whatever it wants to do).

You have even heard Bush doing it on television.

Sacramento Co. Dr. Gene Rogers knew what they had come to do, and why they were doing it. As the medical director for Sacramento County's Indigent Services program for the better part of the past decade, Dr. Rogers has waged a long fight against the central California county's practice of providing non-emergency medical care to illegal immigrants — a policy he says violates federal law and results in the poorest American citizens being denied the care they deserve. http://washingtontimes.com/article/20070827/EDITORIAL/108270019/1013/editorial
