Wasn't it the Democrats who loaded the troop funding bill with $23 BILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF PORK? Wasn't it 25 Democrats WHO REFUSED TO PASS THE LEGISLATION CONDEMNING THE SLADER DIRECTED TOWARDS THEIR COMMANDER? Wasn't it the last Democratic candidate for Presidents who said ONLY STUPID PEOPLE GO TO IRAQ? Wasn't it the Democrat House Speaker who's been meeting with STATE SPONSORS OF THE TERRORISTS WHO ARE KILLING OUR TROOPS? Was it not a Democratic Presidential Candidate who just met with ANOTHER STATE SPONSOR OF TERRORISTS WHO ARE KILLING OUR TROOPS?
No, I think the Democrats have shown who hates the troops, and it ain't Republicans

You have that backwards, the Democrats are the ones who hate the military. They have little support for the military. And remember John Kerry's quote...“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.” There are reasons why their political symbol is a "jack@ss"!

Politics!!! Our Military is not large enough for this mission, that's why they have gradually increased the length of deployments; hence the shorter breaks between deployments. All the money that should go to Vet funding is going to private contractors. Look at the history of Halliburton and their position in both wars. The military never negotiated their bids and over-paid them for their services. One investigation found imaginary people on Halliburton's payroll making that money untraceable. Makes you wonder why we went to war, especially when the Bush administration knew they would allow Halliburton to monopolize. But, I don't feel the republicans hate our troops as much as Democrats because who are the ones who didn't want to fund our troops. Who is trying to miss lead the public with a pull-out strategy when in reality that is not possible. The Bush administration miss lead us and now we have to deal with our actions.

As a vet, I think you have the wrong slant on this problem. First the war is the Republicans and Democrats big problem. Second there is so much money in the pot. The government cannot fund everything good or bad. By the way the Veteran's Administration just got a 100% increase in its mental health department. They have realized that just like us Viet Nam vets, the Gulf War vets and the Iraqi Freedom vets are in need of help. Your source of information is way wrong. It is just another consperacy theory.

Ha! Finally someone comes up with something different in regards to hating troops! See? It's easy for anyone to manipulate statistics to his own advantage and say so-and-so political party is against the military.

Support for the troops doesn't involve pulling them off the front lines. I do agree that they need to be home safe and sound, but that priority takes a backseat to fighting a war, and every soldier knows that.

i'm a Republican and a valid supporter of our troops. the two Republican applicants have toddlers who're serving in the militia. i think of possibly you're misled as to the info. We Republicans are actually not against paying taxes. we are against paying greater taxes under an Obama administration, extremely on account that Obama needless to say reported in the communicate that he could decrease investment for Iraq as a manner to pay for the recent nationwide healthcare application, between different new courses, he needs to introduce. we are prepared to fund our troops. We Republicans are actually not against paying taxes. we are against paying severe taxes. we've not got faith that any group of human beings would desire to be singled out to pay severe taxes, on the grounds this is a sort of discrimination (unfairness). We Republicans are actually not against paying taxes. we are, in spite of the shown fact that, against our tax funds getting used to fund government courses that go against our ideals and values. We Republicans, I repeat one final time, are actually not against paying taxes. we are against contributing funds to a nationwide enterprise which will spend it flippantly, waste it, throw it away, or in any different case abuse it, by using fact we labored demanding for it and desire to place it in the hands of an organization which will use it nicely. The "nationwide enterprise" of which I spoke, by using how, is the government. We have faith that even those interior our occasion who're not careful with our funds would desire to get replaced. Republicans, by using definition, are fiscally conservative. we've those interior our occasion (and on occasion in Washington) who do not stay as much as this definition. in spite of the shown fact that, it is our ideal, and for this reason we could decide for a presidential candidate like McCain, and a vice-presidential candidate like Palin, the two one in all whom have a historical past of scuffling with against wasteful spending.

this war is strictly about corporate contracts and has nothing to do with 9/11, terrorism or american security.
additional funding to the armed forces will only take away from the true purpose of this war - corporate contracts.
