right for a U.S. citizen to own and use a gun?

If God won't take you, remind him that he has been overruled by the Constitution of the United States. Even God can't fight the Constitution.

The United States Rules. God Follows. (As it has been ever since the U.S. found it could use religion to justify whatever it wants to do).

You have even heard Bush doing it on television.

This question could pose a real dilemma to conservative Christians who believe it's their right to own a gun...The 2nd amendment is the right to bear arms, but then there's the Bible that says "thou shalt not kill." Conservative and Republicans only like religion when it serves their purpose, such as the arguments against abortion, homosexuality and gay marriage, even though the Bible says NOTHING of those issues. Then they only like government and the Constitution when it serves their purposes. Republicans and Cons say "liberals are dependent on the government," but look at who's REALLY dependent...The government protects lendors even though they should accept responsibility for their actions and realize there is a risk to lending money. The government protects the income of the wealthy by not taxing money earned from stocks, dividends and capital gains, at the same rate that income earned from labor is taxed. The government protects monopolies through patent and copyright laws. If companies could produce drugs similar to their "competition" drug costs would go down. The government protects corporations because in the "free market" corporations don't exist. The benefits of forming a corporation must outweigh the expenses otherwise why would anyone choose to be a corporation instead of a partnership? There IS a redistribution of wealth going on in the US and it's all moving UP to those who need it least.

What are you asking? God is nothing more than an adults imaginary friend.

And if you are dissing the Constitution, then you really need to learn about the places where the only people who have guns are the cops and crooks. Australia did that and crime went up 300%. Sorry, I don't want that for the USA.

I never saw a part of the Constitution that guarantees a US citizen the right to own and use a gun.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I don't see anything about guns in there.

I'm no religious expert, but I don't think any human can demand anything of God for any reason.

Wow, Thanks!!

I mean, up until now, I thought that only the "Truthers" could come up with a topic that I would consider totally mindless.

And now this....

Thanks!

I am now less intelligent for having read this.
