Unless I was being held in a dank rat infested cell and they were beating me with rubber hoses and putting bamboo under my finger nails while some guy reeking of sour cabbage, was yelling in my ear, "Confess Imperialist Dog!". Even then I might not sign.

NEVER.

Never ever sign a document that you cannot read and do not know explicitly what it says. Never sign a document that you do not get a copy of that is signed by all parties to the contract.

Absolutely not. Signing your name binds you to the terms and conditions of a document, even if you don't understand it.

i have many a time...i to have lived aboard..i would never sign it if i thought for one minute it was doggy, but if its a work contract or rental agreements etc then hell yes i will sign it :)
