i dont understand why the age to buy alcohol is still 21. If the US considers an 18 yr old as an adult who can vote, buy cigarettes, drive, go to college, etc., why cant they purchase alcohol? Everyone knows that 18 yr olds drink alcohol anyway, why not give them the right to purchase? I am over 21, but before, as an 18, 19, 20 yr old college student, it felt stupid that i had to get an older person to buy alcohol, when i considered myself an adult.

Is there anyway the age limit will be lowered? do you think it ever will?

I agree that it is nice and all that. But thinking logically, if all the countries who have socialized medicine have an economy surplus, how can we manage a program with our deficit economy without it being wickedly below par?

Do u need a license to drive a scooter, and if so are the vision requirements the same as driving a car? My sister lost her vision in one eye and has low vision in other eye. We have a store a few blocks away which I take her too, but she'd like some independence of her own :)

Thanks!

Does anyone else remember this? It sort of reminds me of when I was a kid during the 80s and how the US and the Soviet Union constantly demonized each other. Not exactly pleasant memories, but oh the nostalgia!:)

how hard is it to put up a big net, or something, so they will stay in their own countries during the winter, and leave our economy alone? and why are these hippy libs want to give them amnesty? if it were up to ted kennedy, these damn birds would take over our country for half the year, take advantage of our social programs, never learn how to speak any human language (sure, they can repeat things, but that doesn't mean they speak english), then leave a few months later? and why the f*ck to i have to press 1 for bird language?

Why did the City Of San Fransisco try to silence his right to free speech?

Can you file on 6 payday loans? I heard you had to be 30 days away from filing from the time you took out these loans. Also in Kentucky it is state law you can only take out $500 max, and I have out about $2,200. Is this a felony?

I don't think most people understand what the bottom line is. What you are seeing with loss of jobs, declining incomes, war, division and America in decline is really all due to economics.
There is some 320 Million Chinese under the age of 14. There is also millions in India. This is the new market and we the American people are funding it. Its called the free market and we are buying ourselves into oblivion. As the Chinese standard of living increases we in turn lose jobs to them. The corporations don't care. As an example I work for a 5 yr old company who this year will get 52% of it business from overseas. Expansion will happen there, not here. We need tariffs on goods coming in and job creation here or we are dead meat. That's the bottom line, a fair market not a free one like you have been led to believe.

I am originally from a fishing village off the south coast of Spain. I think me and 5 mates could have put up a better effort than Grenada. I mean America STILL talks about that "successful" invasion. My niece and her friends would have kicked yankee *ss. Does anybody agree the yanks thought that "war" was another attempt at making the American public feel better about the Vietnam defeat ?

"The New York Police Department report released Wednesday describes a process in which young men — often legal immigrants from the Middle East who are frustrated with their lives in their adopted country — adopt a philosophy that puts them on a path to violence."

Are we hoping to appease these people or are we destined to become the new Palestine?

I already know that someone has tried to hack into my email, I suspect that they are trying to get personal information about me, such as an address, etc. Should I contact the FBI? My IP provider says that they are the only ones (and other top officials) that can access the info to locate the remote computer that tried to hack into my email. How advisable is it to do this?

If we pay Federal & State taxes, why is it not considered double taxation to have our goods taxed? We pay multiple taxes for Gas, cigarettes or when we shop. From the money you earn you are taxed. Then purchases are taxed. By the time you add up the taxes it can be a large percentage. Why/How is this legal? Have kids who want to know.

Hello. I recently had an interview with a company I REALLY want to work for. The interview went great!! The problem came from my original application. My last employer went out of business and I was sketchy on current contact information for my last supervisor. The number on the application was no longer current. This new place I applied called today to ask if I had the correct information. After two number attempts, we got it right. Does this make me look ridiculous? Despite the great interview, could this cost me the job?
