I'd like to find the main talking points on the Iraq oil law, such as
pros and cons?
What the average Iraqi stand to benefit from it?

Here's what I already know from reading the law;
It distributes oil revenue evenly based off a populations scale
It opens two thirds of the Iraqi oil market up to foriegn investors, which was unheard of in Saddams time, but I fail to see how it benefits the Iraqi people over a state-owned oil system, why not follow the successful business model of Kuwait.

Also, when will the Iraqi Counsel of Representatives will vote on it?

Let's say that a tenant, and a landlord agree to the amount of rent payment. They then sign the 1 yr contract. However, the landlord wants to change the amount on the rent, wanting to increase it. Can the landlord change the terms of the contract, before the 1yr is up? Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

WASHINGTON - The Democratic-controlled Congress and President Bush seem locked in a perverse competition for public unfavorability, according to a new Associated Press-Ipsos poll.

The survey shows Bush's approval ratings at 35 percent, and Congress' even lower, 25 percent. Only 27 percent of those polled said the country is headed in the right direction, and 39 percent said they support the Iraq war, with 58 percent opposed... Among Democrats, a striking 70 percent disapproved and 26 percent approved..."

I'm trying to get a job in a global company so I can be transfered but I'm pretty sure I'd get paid better working for a car dealership. Anyways, I'd like to move by next year. What's the best way to go about it (is the global company idea good) and will it be a bit easier for me? I'm going to be 21 in November. Should I just try to go to school there and get a work and school visa? I'm majoring in Art.

No jokes like: "No you'll never get in because you're not Arab." or "Just claim asylum." I'm not Arab. I'm not being persecuted in the USA. I'm not going to pretend I am.

A soldier who admitted he paid someone $500 to shoot him in the leg so he could avoid returning to Iraq won't face felony charges, though his wife and another man who prosecutors say was the gunman were indicted by a grand jury.
"I was hoping for the best, but preparing myself for the worst," Army Pvt. Jonathan Aponte, 21, told The Daily News. "I went into the grand jury and told the truth, and I think they had sympathy for me."

Aponte had claimed he was robbed and shot July 9 but changed his story when police questioned him. He was set to leave on another eight-month tour the same day he was shot. He stated he did not want to go back to Iraq.
He told police that he had joked with his wife about getting shot in the leg so he wouldn't have to return to Iraq, but his wife apparently took him seriously and said she knew someone who could do the job.
