I consider it extreme . You may disagree but. . . . . ..

How do you reconcile the fact that they've carried out thousands of attacks worldwide ?
How do you reconcile the fact that they stated their goals of killing all of us ?
How do you reconcile the fact that they've publicly stated that they're very adamant about getting WMD's ?
How do you reconcile the fact that they've promised to use WMD's on us ?
How do you reconcile the fact that they're currently fighting in more than 50 countries ?

And How Do You Reconcile The Fact That Every Terrorist Analyst and Middle East Expert Sees The Situation Differently Than You ?

You are very naive if you do not see that the Terrorists are in this to win they were at war with us before we admitted it on 9-11. If you read their writings and look at their speeches since the 1970's you will see that they intend to have a world caliph. They have desecrated holy sites of all religions since then including Christian, Jewish, Buddhists and ancient Egyptian. The current president of Iran believes that they can advance the end of times when Islam reigns throughout the world by destroying ancient Constantinople, Rome and Jerusalem. The terrorists have cells in the US (as our Homeland Security have made know) and they obviously have cells in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia if you look at where the fighting with them is going on. The are trying to overthrow the current regimes in place in the Middle east which will ensure that the West's oil supply is cut off and definitely will pick up the terrorism in other countries as we have already seen in France, Spain, Scotland and England.

Probably just as much as before. the government agencies have always been looking out for the country but as soon as new security measures are in place, terrorists or extremists find ways around it. basically think of america as a car. no matter what kind of security you put in it whether alarm, steering wheel lock or entry codes if someone really wants to steal it. they will find a way.

Never ever underestimate the enemy. Always plan for the worse and hope for the best. We have been at war with these a**holes since the 70s. It's about time to take this threat far more seriously.

A lot. Go read Clancy's The Sum of All Fears, and then reflect that given thirty pounds of U-235, a seventh grader can design a workable atomic bomb. (I did it. But a plutonium bomb is much more high-tech, as the North Koreans found out.)

7000 attacks on western citizens by Arab Muslim extremists in the last 30 years. That equals 233 attacks per year. Is it as much as car accidents no, smoking no. But we as a people take precautions against those things, seatbelts, airbags, ABS, smokers anonymous etc. Why should we not take precautions against maniacs on camels blowing our kids up. And cars don't have the intent to harm us, cigarettes don't intend to harm us even though they do. These guys intend to harm us.

First, WE are the Infidel, to the Muslim. They are the ones calling us the Infidel.
Second. You know, we have been bombed at leats twice in the last 15 years on our home soil.
Do you just want to let our guard down and find out how much else they would do?
Nah..Then you would deny it, and somehow blame Bush for it, like you guys do with everything else wrong in your lives...

LJAY...So what were we doing to Bin Laden Pre 9/11 again? Or to Iraq before they invaded Kuwait?
Or, Before they bombed the WTC in 1993?
Should I continue?

Well,if you don't believe it,that's up to you. It's hard for the pc crowd to say anything bad about terrorism. Dr. Bugeyes understands. Perhaps a relaxing trip to the Sudan will help you.

Individually, very little. Your car or bathtub is a lot more likely to kill or injure you than is an Islamist terrorist.

As a nation, yes, we have to deal with the threats posed by terrorism, but fear is a poor response, considering that instilling terror is the objective if Terrorism.

You only have to watch the History Channel to see where extremism is going and how long it's been going on.

Ummm, nothing like the smell of radioactivity in the morning.
