Dallas: I don't have my opinion fed to me. Which is why I was already aware of what he was talking about. It just so happens that I agree. the only people who aren't thinking for themselves are the ones who ignorantly believe the US is still #1 in anything.
Wake up people and do something about the state of our Nation!
If you don't start educating yourselves and taking action, its a quick trip to dead last.

Halestrm - I believe our Country WAS great, and CAN be great again. Simply deciding that something is so, does not make it so. Just by saying or believing America is #1, does not make it so and in fact, I feel is detrimental to our country as it only serves to promot the status quo. The only way to improve is to acknowledge our weaknesses and work to turn them into strengths. Living in a state of denial will get us nowhere and nothing.

You'll have alot of people pissed off at you because many prefer to stay ignorant in their own little beliefs
I mean read all these hateful social views that are spewed here ...and then they say it happens all over.Yes but not to the extend it happens in America .
They believe freedom is owning a gun ...so they believe the rest of the world is not living in a free country because we don't have the right to bare arms and have drive by shootings!

I believe America is #1 even though he disagrees with me. I also believe that people who live in other countriess prob. believe their country is #1 too.
In my opinion, I believe that what is hurting the US is the negativity and gross disrespect that is everywhere. Why is it ok to belittle someones belief that they are fortunate enough to live in this, the best country in the world. Without that belief, why would anyone fight to continue to grow this great nation? If you don't believe in yourself, you can't make yourself better, same goes for a high school football team, and a nation.
