This truly is pathetic. The other African countries supported this and due to the rules of the UN, there was no way for the US or any sane thinking country to stop this idiocy. Zimbabwe is probably the most pathetic country of a continent of pathetic nations. Fortunately, if it goes the way of most UN committees, it will only serve as a conduit for money to go into the corrupt pockets of diplomats instead of having any impact on reality. Thank God for small mercies.

its actually hilarious. inflation is amazing in Zimbabwe. minimum wage $1 a day and a box of orange juice is $5. i know i lived there for 2 months. the funny thing is that the people love him. they call him their father. they love him because he took all the land from the white farmers and gave it to the people from the same tribe he came from. without teaching anyone how to farm and without giving them money to buy seeds. but Mugabe is in denial because he says they have a surplus of food. he even offered 500 tons of food for somalia last year. we should have invaded zimbabwe not iraq.

The UN has been totally brain dead for quite some time now. Someone should pull the plug and end this expensive experiment.

Kind of like putting Al Capone in charge of the vice squad.

It is sad.

The UN lost its effectiveness about 15 years ago. Time to dismantle the poor thing and let it die quietly.

Kick the UN out of the US permanently and put in somewhere in Africa.

The UN was never effective. Well....I take that back. They were and are effective in making themselves look really, really bad and......ineffective. Bravo!
