Thanks to our lack in immigration control and terrorists we now have to supply prospective employers with a employment history for the previous 10 years. My question is where do I get this information at no cost to me. Seems to be nothing free in the Freedom of Information Act, Thanks Slick Willy!

So, here's my question! My husband (who's in the navy)cheated on me and is going to Court Marshall for it, I don't know the process and was just wondering if anyone knows what happens? What do they do? And what can happen to him for this offense? Thanks in advance!

Is that how it works around here? All the conservatives join hands & chant scripture & talk about how "courageous" W is and how history will prove him to be a "great" leader. And that's fine. You're entitled to your opinion. We can even disagree respectfully. But to go so far as to report "abuse" on a stupid message board which is no more than a whimsical diversion for most of us and our daily routine?? Come on.

.... the war effort in Iraq, or the perceived motives of this Republican administration for making the decisions they have made in the last 7 years?

Or do you support dissent directed at the Bush administration, the war... and conservativism in America, even if you don't agree with it?

Should suspected terrorists not be allowed here....and if not a suspected terrorist, should the fed govt make a law saying only allowed here for one year, and then make an appointment with someone in the govt to renew that every year to keep track of the status of non americans....i think non americans ruin this country by taking all the resources americans can use and create a terroristic and religious threat to hurt american citizens....i live in fear sorta cause i don't know maybe someday some al qaida might come down my street and blow me up with a bomb around him, just wondering if anybody can speak up about this besides me, thank you for your concern

Almost all dictators worked to disarm the people even before they were offically in power. Guns make a polite government.

Okay liberals here is your chance to shine. Tell me without the use of your all mighty google. What makes you a liberal? If you say it's your hatred of George Bush than I will have to ask you to switch to the Republican ticket in 2008. No really why do you feel so passionately the way you do? Do you work for a living? Have children? Are you a property owner? Are you a Christian, a Jew, a Hindu, an agnostic. Tell me why you feel the passion that burns so deeply inside you. I am just curious.

there was no road markings and no signs up but I'm not naive enough to think that they haven't got me by the balls on some technicality or whatever, however I'm not going to make it easy on them, so what's the worst they can do, because I may just let them do it!

They thought that they are government agency so they can do whatever they want. This has been going on since last year, they invoiced us some ridiculous amount which our company has never agreed on. Even though we have written complaint letter to headquarter, they just forward the letter back to the field office which they are the same groupie!!! I'm wondering what can we do now seems even though headquarter of USDA wouldn't even help. I just got a phone call from USDA saying that they will transfer this debt to collection agency or even the U.S Treasury, but they refuse to give us a written response - all they do is just phone call, they don't even do email!!!! Awww, so frustrated - my boss is not going to pay for this unjustified amount but I feel like I’m stuck in between, coz I will be the only one who needs to deal with the whole thing til the end, help!!!!!
What can I do???

I am an ardent Ron Paul supporter who is not officially associated with his campaign. I'm passionate about his message that government ought to be limited to preserving the liberty of individuals. I believe that a Ron Paul presidency could make the world a better place for all except the current elite. For this reason, I am very vocal in advocating his candidacy.

The purpose of my question is two-fold:

1. I'm not just posting my opinions to satisfy my own ego. I want to change minds. If Ron Paul supporters are seeming as mere annoyances then we're clearly wasting our time. I would like recommendations on what you think are appropriate ways of communicating.

2. When Ron Paul supporters are being reasoned and informative (yes, there are obnoxious supporters), I want you to question whether you're rather more interested in voting for American Idol than for a presidential primary. (Over-simplification, I know.) I'm just asking people to give us a fair shake.

Thanks!

My husband has about 12 credits now. Deploying before he gets out. ETS around Aug.2009. He's an E-4, medic. He says his MOS gives him college credit so he only lacks around 4-6 classes for an associate's I believe. How competitive is green to gold active duty option? How exactly does it work? He'd like to do his degree in PA. Otherwise, how does the regular green to gold option work?Is it easier to get?How does this work?He plans to get back in afterwards. I've looked online about the green to gold program, but I was wondering if anyone had experience or knows more about how it all works? Thanks.

Would you like them to get 28 seats in the Senate?
Maybe win 45 seats total in the House.
What is your last wish for them before they fold?

I happen to love politics and the system of democracy we have in place. I'm a GOP supporter a fiscal conservatice and a social moderate. I just happen to feel the officials we have in place now and for the future have completely lost touch with the moderates in this country. It's either one side or another no middle ground it seems. It just seems disheartening to have to pick a candidate in whom you don't even belive in.
