True story in Maryland. A woman has terminated 4 of her pregnancies and is facing criminal charges. She could have gotten 4 abortions and not been prosecuted. The law in Maryland states that a person can be prosecuted if they terminate a viable pregnancy. Isn't that what doctors do during abortions? Doesn't make sense.

A half century after we liberated Europe from the horrors of national Socialism, it appears that Europe has again fallen to Socialism - this time of a self-inflicted nature.

Even those dependable old chaps, the Brits, have hit rock-bottom it seems. The Brown government has come up with a new cabinet post, the Secretary of State for Equalities, whose responsibility is to impose authoritarian political correctness on the remnants of British civilization.

The first to fill the post is Deputy Labor Leader Harriet Harman, who recently announced at a gay pride event that a new Commission for Equality and Human Rights will "mainstream the battle against homophobia" by ramming the militant homosexual agenda down the throats of the populace.

Yesterday the British government ruled that to comply with the Sexual Orientation Regulations of last year's Equality Act, religious owners of hotels and bed and breakfasts must either allow homosexual activity on their premises, or forbid any guests from sleeping together.

Not only hoteliers will be affected. For example, if a photographer objects to taking pictures of gay lovebirds smooching, then he can't take pictures of any couples and must switch to portrait photography

Code slogans such as "welfare programs" (they forget about trillions in corporate welfare all profits BTW we finance for fat cats )
"hate america" hahaah! (that's a hilarious one by the same who are out to gut our future by driving us into debt)
We'll fight them here if we dont stay in iraq (Iraq is good for making sure Bush an pals can loot us dry for another 30 years in war goods costs with no effective outcome, a noice scam) secular progressives (those who dont giv a damn who you sleep with and worry more about the lies being fed to americans in this fake oil scam war) and there are many more...so contrived and obviously right from neo-con mouths in the shill talk radio circuit

I was debating with a friend the other day the legal options I have in the case that someone breaks into my house. Can you shoot someone with a firearm that breaks into your home if they are not carrying a weapon of any kind? What is over excessive force?

Let's say a village had an event each year, where members of the village went to a local hall and had a party. There's a non-compulsory donation of three quid on the door to a local charity. It's bring your own alcohol, so there are no staff working there.

Is it smoke free? Most of the stuff I've read seems to say it depends on whether it's open to the public or not, but if necessary it can be restricted to certain people (even if there are a couple of hundred of them!)

What do people think?

Just the other day I gave my old camera and empty memory card to another employer at work. I thought I was doing a nice thing since I had just bought a new camera. The next day he comes in and says that I'm going to be mad at him. I ask what for? He then goes to tell me that he has a program that can recover old pictures from a memory car. I feel that not only my generosity was betrayed but that he broke some kind of law. We work at an internet company and he knows all the dirty little tricks. I feel that some type of right that I have has been crossed. I don't need to tell you what kind of pictures they were, I'm sure you get the idea. Do I need to get a lawyer involved since this was done illegally? Or am I just over reacting because he broke the trust and invaded a privacy that was deleted?
