Call it blood diamond or bloody oil. We are pretty much involved in every mess out in the world to protect out intrest. we are the ones who demand cheap oil. We invented the nuclear weapon. first and only one ever to use it on innocent people. we went to vietnam to help a curropt and unpopular goverment. And when it so really about genocide and democracy (Liberia and Sudan) we put minimal effort. just enough to get by. No saying that we are evil. To me USA is one of the best country in this world. We helped in kosovo, bosnia and many places where it mattered. Then again we are not really innocent either.

One of my friends asked me if there is a foreign national military base in the US. I told him no, but I’m not to sure if that is the right answer. Is there a foreign military base i the US? It would seem fair since we have bases all over the world.

our neighbor has approached us a few (3 or 4) times concerning a package he was expecting. he claims the vendor has the "wrong" address, and if we get it - to just bring it over for him. we've obliged, but thought it was strange that the packages were not addressed to him. so the other day, we received a call from a vendor who was investigating a particular incident of credit card theft. the package was supposedly sent to our address. so we suspect that our neighbor is up to no good - and using our address to receive stolen goods. what should we do? and if we report it, how can we prove any of it? we have no records of any of the packages. thanks in advance.

People are free to do whatever they want, but if these people are on public assitance and are being supported by tax payers, wouldn't it be logical to say, "you can't support yourself and we don't want you to have anymore children until you are off public assistance?"

I have heard sean hannity, rush limbaugh, and other so-called "conservative"(but really neocon) radio hosts talking about how civil liberties are "protecting terrorists." Why is liberty the target of these "conservatives"? (if you asked me, i would call them neocons or liberals).

let me just add that you will see people call me a liberal or commie in this question's answers, but i have to say that that is very ignorant, because conservatism (real, ronald reagan consrevatism, not george bush neoconservatism) was founded on these ideas.

My friend is getting a Administrative Discharge from the Navy. My questions are how is this considered compared to Dishonorable and honorable discharges? Also how long will it take for the paperwork to go threw? They told her 2-6 weeks but I doubt that they will leave her sitting in her A-School barracks for a month and a half. Also I heard from some other people that she could still get her G.I. money for school, what is the story on that. Thanks for any help you can give.

I've gotta come to the defense of the white folks on here who are not racist. All I see is whites getting called racial slurs for being against Illegal Immigration.

My question is, do you not know that its NOT only white people in America who oppose illegal immigration? Thing is, you yell about racism, yet when a White, Black , Asian or NON Mexican speaks out against it without even calling Mexicans names, you attack their culture with racial slurs. Hypocrites? of course. Youtube is a prime example.
