You have Carter mixed up with ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair, an avowed Fabian Society member. Jimmy Carter is a humanist and human rights activist and can hardly be called Marxist or Fabian, not even by a long shot. You should brush up on your history before asking such silly questions...

I didn't care for him and you can thank him for being the beginning of why we are still messing around in the middle east. Iran had him over a barrel for a long time with hostages.
