Specifically after troops begin returning from Iraq and Afghanistan upset at the government, mainly Democrats, President Bush and some Republicans at the moment, who fail to offer much financial or emotional support for them. Combine that with the population's dislike of the war, disgust with the government and economic problems. What do you believe the likeliness if of conflict breaking out in this country?

Just something to think about.

Within the past couple months, I applied and interviewed for a Federal job that I'm very confident I should have got. Regardless, was only told 'not accepted' w/o a reason. Thought I had a right to be told 'why.' I've tried to obtain a reason with no luck. I need to know if this job is worth my job pursuing. No matter what I want the reason. Thanks.

I have been trying to sell my paintball gun for a while now

i posted a listing on myspace
and some lady wanted to buy it

she asked if i wanted a check or money order

which now i realize i should of just said cash only

but i said money order for a specific amount

well anyways i get a package in the mail with

Three Money Orders for $825

without even telling her she sent me an email saying there was a mistake and the secratary at her work sent her paycheck instead of the price i wanted for my paintball gun

She tells me cash the money orders at the bank and take the money out for the paintball gun and her son will come pickup the rest this week

so i told my parents, i got yelled at
we're gonna call and see if they can verify the money orders

but im waiting for my dad to get home so we can email her back

Also the money orders are all from Walmart by Moneygram
and i cant find any anticonterfit things on them and i cant make out the signature

I was recently involved in a car accident, and the other driver was drunk. I ha d a new 07 Eclipse that was totaled, and my wife was sent to the hospital with a few bumps, minor whiplash and a knee strain that put her on crutches for a few days. The next day we were went to Las Vegas on a planned trip and couldn't do much the first few days due to my wife being on crutches. The other guys insurance company offered us $1,000 dollars to settle. My insurance only covered $20,000 of my car that costed me 25,000. Should I take this settlement or am I entitled to more. ( I have contacted lawyers but for the fee I would have to pay its really not worth hiring one) I am also a 100% disabled veteran who just got out of the hospital less than a year ago and this is the last thing I needed. What do you think?

I do because no precious child needs some pervert, abuser, or financially unstable person to be parenting them. If you think this is like the "morality police", guess what? Some idiots are so stupid and disgusting that they need to be policed morally. CHILD ABUSE IS MY BUSINESS, and should be everyone's business. If people can't take care of their children properly, they do not deserve to have them. That's my belief and I'm stickin to it.

That when liberals want something "most people want it" , and when they don't want something 'No one wants it"? Thats what happens when you watch CNN, it rots your brain.

It seems that much of the work that is available now is with Temporary Agencies which are not stable sources of income. Temporary agencies also discourage employers from hiring good workers unless they have been working for the agency on a contract for 3 to 6 months.

I mean I could understand if they were against abortion but birth control and condoms are the way of preventing abortions from happening by stopping the baby from ever being concieved in the first place and condoms also stop the spread of STDs. I mean I know they say abstinence but that is so unrealistic I mean it is a human instinct to have sex.

Aren't stories like the one about Al Queda attacking on US soil a matter of National Security? I mean, what can the public possibly do to prevent this? Shouldn't information like this be "classified information"?

I know for a lot of people the decision to vote for one of the candidates for the next Presidential election might be easy, because i mean we as Americans have an tendency not to change. You instantly know whether you will vote Republican or Democrat, male or female, or white or black without even knowing the true goals and personalities of the candidates. I have done this too, but my vote never counted before. I am 19 years old and the 2008 presidential election will be the first time i have the chance to vote for the President of the United States, and from just sticking to the norm that i was raise around I Barack Obama is number one candidate to me right now. But its said to say that I can't really tell you y because to me the only thing that sets him apart from the other candidates is his race, gender, and political party. i would like to learn for myself why i should or shouldn't vote for him, and i want to know why other people think they should or should not vote for him.

I asked a question recently and was given this website as justification:

http://www.healthcare-now.org/hr676.html

It states that limits will be placed on pay outs for operations. How do you determine these limits? Will this not drive down the amount of care recieved as hospitals cut corners to save cash?

I don't think any of us - liberal, conservative, whatever - actually WANT abortions. Okay, maybe some do, but this question is for the rest of us that don't.

Women have abortions because of a pregnancy that, for whatever reason, they don't want. From a medical analogy, I believe that the diagnosis is unwanted pregnancies, but if abortion is made illegal, does that attack the symptom rather than the cause of the illness? What, then, can be done to cure the illness of unwanted pregnancies and, from a social perspective, not just use a band-aid to cover the bullet hole?
