i've seen many clips from tv and they always have a hard time with the suspects, they always end up running away and they have to chase them, they dont have the physical strength, and they are just not intimidating even if there are 3 of them. they should just be nurses

like about gays, gas prices, and the military issue... I think that you should do whatever your choices are... like if you want to be gay go ahead be gay or the military if they want to go home or stay over there thats their choice, what party is that?

Why should you NOT be angry...at things...at people's replies...at society's complacency, at government's stupidity and misrepresentations...what's wrong with that?

It shows you care and that you are passionate about your beliefs as far as I'm concerned.

Some people need to be smacked across the head (figuratively speaking) before the cobwebs can be shaken from their unused brains don't you think?

Anger is a sign that something is wrong...not with the individual but with the environment around that individual.

Think about it...do you agree?

And if so...do you try to do something to change that environment, or just carry on whining?

The good sister has blocked me for answering ONE of her questions and I stopped answering RLP for all of the violations I got from answering her questions and now Sister Aimee sounds just like Ruth and RLP, are they the same person in your opinion. I don't like slamming people personally but I also won't be cowled into biting my tongue. I have said before, I think Ruth and RLP are two of the biggest offenders on the republican side of politics. What say you for those who have been here for a while?

I thought Jesus taught that we should help the least among us. Also, why do Republicans claim to be pro life, yet they tend to be staunch supporters of the death penalty. The whole Republican platform seems to clash with Christian philosophy. What a buncha hypocritical flip floppers.

And then pick a Canadian's song for her campaign theme?

There's already a backlash against the "Bush/Clinton Monarchy", why would she want to insinuate any connection to the mob?

Yes....Of course they are.....Just look at what your average liberal stands for........the "overthinking" fools that they all are. Liberals can think themselves into a corner any day. Poor souls....

My girlfriend has worked for the same company for nearly 3 years. In that time she has never had a review or a raise and has generally been mistreated. Her human resources department was shocked to discover this and she was told by her boss that she would get a review in a week. That was 3 weeks ago and now the company changed her boss and pretty much disolved her department. They then told her the review was going to be pushed out 2 weeks. Her coworker is currently on vacation and she's covering both jobs for two weeks. They told her they would give her a review when her coworker came back. They are now interviewing for new hires and based on the testing they are doing it sounds like it's for her department and a lot of employees there are telling her it looks like they are looking to fire someone in her department and that she should keep an eye out over her sholder. Can they fire her for asking for a raise/review? If they do can she persue a law suit? She has emails on some of this

When A4C was introduced into NHS my management wrote a job description (JD) outlining my role. They were told to write the JD to list the skills and qualifications required if replacing us, not necessarily the qualifications we held (eg. someone in post for 20 years may not have a degree but had on job training, if replacing would ask for degree). Professional registration has just been introduced to our scientific field but my collegues & myself had not been encouraged to apply or told of its importance. The JD writen by my management listed registration as they would require it if they had to replace us. Management told us to sign the JD & accept the contract on this basis. 2 years later senior trust management realised we didn't have registration & said we were not eligable to this pay scale & that they wanted the overpayment back. As I accepted the contract & pay in good faith on guidance of my management surely they cant ask 4 money back, just give notice of change of contract.

That for every reference they make to William "money in the freezer" Jefferson, dems can list at least 20 corrupt, convicted, disbarred, or otherwise evicted public officials of their party ?

You guys can keep chanting that guys name as much as you want...the simple PROVEN fact is that Republicans are FAR more corrupt.

So I'm scrolling and reading couple of answers to a question I answered. And in small print in top it reads - the voting came to tie - the voting time has been extended. (Or something like that) So I'm wondering, how many people actually go back and read answers on questions and vote on the best one there is?

Some believe that President Bush blatantly abuses his power and the law though his use of signing statements to rewrite some 1100 laws enacted by Congress.

In this video, legal scholar Jonathan Turley discusses those signing statements and what appears to be blowback from federal officials who are refusing to follow Bush’s lead as it may have legal implications for them down the road..

It seems that when it comes to long wait times for people entering the country to become residents or citizens, there is a feeling that this isn't a big deal, and they should wait however long it takes. Yet when it comes to long wait times for passport applications, people are quicker to say the government needs to hurry, or isn't performing reasonably.

Yes, I did ask these two questions with the idea of seeing how answers would be similar or different.
