If so, I will call the war in Iraq the 'democrats war' and not 'Bush's war'. Afterall, we were told that we could NOT enlist the help of the dems, because we should 'stay the course'...the very strategy that is responsible for the situation in Iraq...so, should we still blame congress for approving the use of force? Or would it be alright to make Bush accountable for the handling of the Iraq war?

Inflation originates in Labour Market.
Inflation serves the critical social purpose of resolving incompatible demands of different groups.
RBI should reduce the interest rates after parliamentary election is over. There should be 10% unemployment and
10% inflation to make the money sound.

Like tobacco companies that settled law suites in dozens of states limiting liability ,shouldn't corporations be actively doing the same thing now . .
They do not have to since laws are being written to protect corporations from such liability .
Why have such laws unless you are guilty in the first place .

In a huge victory in the fight against global warming the Supreme Court today issued a ruling in the case of Massachusetts v. EPA decisively rejecting the Bush administration's inaction on global warming , In a 5-4 vote .
Bush has attempted to lower standards and currently lobbyists are attempting to get limits on liability for polluters established .
This will make settlements payable to states like the Tobacco lawsuits denying individuals the right to sue .
Much is left to be done before we are allowed to come to the conclusion that we do have an effect on our environment and lately it has been cause for alarm among scientists .

Seriously. You can hate the war and think it was a big mistake. But here you have numerous intelligence sources telling you that Iraq has WMD's. He was given the intel. Senators Clinton and Edwards were given that intel. They all decided to trust that intel (that may have been a mistake - but a lie?).

So, our leaders trusted in the intelligence community, and made a decision that they felt was the best for America.

Once again, you can say it was faulty intelligence, a mistake, etc,etc (which undoubtedly you will). But the real issue is - how can you say it was a lie?

We blamed them for working with Bush and going to war, and we blame them for working with Bush to try and end it? When do we stop blaming congress for Bush and the republican strategy, and start forcing the party of accountability to take some credit? Congress changed its rules. If members would be so bold to ask taxpayers to fund a special pet project back home, they would have to do so in full view of the public, facing potential scrutiny. The rule change, passed under the title of "Congressional Earmark Reform," required that members' names and projects be listed in the appropriate legislation. This would allow members to chastise other members for earmarks during normal debate, which takes place on the House floor while reporters are reporting and cameras are watching.
It was a good reform, one that earned Pelosi and her fellow House Democrats well-deserved praise.
Pelosi's pledge to "drain the swamp" was short-lived. Apparently, she didn't mean what she said. Now she is allowing her Democratic colleagues to refill it, but in doing so they are trying to obscure it from public view with a huge fence.

The film is very well done. Moore comments that while most Americans have health insurance, there are still almost 50 million who do not, and even those who do have it are not assured their medical care will be paid for, since the HMO industry is set up to make money, there are literally thousands of cases in which people are denied payment on their medical claims for trivial, often rediculous reasons.

The best part of the film is when Moore goes to three different western nations, Canada, England, and France, and basically shows that not only do the citizens of these nations pay NOTHING for health services, but they also enjoy lower infant mortality rates and longer lifespans than Americans. Also, he comments how the great nation of Britan hasn't slipped into a "socialist dictatorship" even though they have had socialized medicine since the end of WW2.

Unfortunately that we live in a political landscape which dismisses Moore's films as "propaganda" without giving them a chance
