It has given Bush another reason to delay pulling our troops out of Iraq.Otherwise nothing.

The surge has accomplished this: Gen. Patraeus telling Fox News that his September deadline for reporting results is just too soon.
Other than that is has increased US military and Iraqi civilain casualties and made Baghdad a far more dangerous place to be.

You got that right, the surge hasn't accomplished one thing
except get more troops to come home in caskets , look at the troops no legs , half a body that is all this surge has accomplished, not one damn thing., but broken homes and bodies.

Well, there's been a significant "surge" in America deaths
maybe that's what Bush meant
or maybe it was the surge his little peener gets when he thinks about all of the money his subhuman friends are making from all of the wonderful death and destruction

Apparently not much. Just look at the answers the "surge" supporters have given. Not one of them have given you a direct response to your question. Apparently all they can do is question your patriotism for asking such a question or blame the "liberal media" for having nothing positive to report.

Maybe you should ask your liberal news media, oh wait that's right, they'll only tell you how many Americans died, they could care less how many insurgents have been killed which is somewhere around 10 to every American soldier killed.

Well Saddam is out of power, but everything that has occured in the War after that has really not done much.
