Ever notice that conservatives are often ignorant red necks, like the President, who can't spell the word "course" correctly, and who can't punctuate a sentence properly?
Now - I'm a bit liberal, here's some answers for you:
On Iraq: Get out now, its an unwinnable mess that we can't fix, because we probably shouldn't have invaded in the first place, and if we were going to it should have been with a much larger, overwhelming force, and with a better plan for the post-war. Also, because the war went so quickly, the people of Iraq never felt defeated, because we didn't pound them into submission. I hate war, but if you're going to do it, do it right. But now, Iraq is a mess - it can't be "won" or "lost" anymore. We just need to tell them sorry we screwed up their country, tell them to sort it out, and when they make come kind of peace, give them billions of dollars in aid to rebuild their country.
Energy independence: This is easy - get the politicians hands (Rep. and Dem.) out of the oil lobby's and automobile lobby's pockets, then make cars more efficient and through carrot (grants) and stick (taxes/fines) plans make companies and individuals use less oil and more renewables like nuclear, solar and wind more workable. Conservatives usually want a free market, well, with lawmakers in the back pockets of big oil and big autos, the market is not fair, and therefore not free.
Abortion, Gay marriage, and other social issues: I thought Republicans wanted the government out of their lives? If you don't want to government telling you whether you can have a gun or not, then why is it OK for them to tell you who you can marry, or whether or not you can have an abortion, or whether or not you should be taught creationism or evolution? Be consistent, people.
Immigration: Another unworkable mess. Rich people, who typically are Republican, count on cheap illegal immigrant labor to help them stay rich. Liberals can't stand the idea of forcing people to go back to hell holes in the countries they came from. Plus, most illegals have children who are legal citizens, because they were born here, and no one but the cruelest people want to split up these families. I think the bipartisan bill is the best option, which Bush agrees with. So I can't bash him on this one.
Taxes/budget/economy: We have the lowest income taxes in the western world, and the highest debt to GDP ratio. Seems simple to me - taxes need to be higher, or spending lower. I think there should be a little of both. Pork barrell should be completely illiegal, and/or the President should have line item veto power on fiscal bills. Taxes should be higher on the very wealthy (the top 10% - graduated, with the "working rich" paying maybe 25% and the extremely wealthy paying about 40%), with a flat tax on the middle 80% of the people at about 20%, and the bottom 10% should pay no tax at all. There should be no tax right offs at all. All income, regardless of the source, should be treated equally.
Social Security: Keep it as it is. Both parties make it sound worse than it is for their own agendas. When needed, raise the social security tax - it will be a bit painful, but within 15 years of it getting bad (about 2030), it will correct itself (that's when the baby boomers will be all but gone, and that's where the real problem is).
The evironment: Should conservatives be leading the way on this? Shouldn't they want to "conserve" the environment? Actually, many true conservatives do; its the ones who get campaign money from polluters that don't, as well as those in the religious right who say "don't worry about it - its all part of God's plan, pray and he'll take care of it" - because they really want the world to end and for Jesus Christ to come back. These people have been hoping for a nuclear war or some other catastrophe for 50 years, because they think it will bring Jesus back. They need to read the Bible, because Jesus himself said he will be back when nobody expects it - so stop expecting it.
Should I go on? The point is, everyone has ideas about how to fix problems, both conservatives and liberals. And most people don't fit into those neat categories anyway. We need to stop being so partisan, and start finding common answers.

The correct course: Pull out of the war for oil...strengthen the borders of Afghanistan...Tell Pakistan the terrorists camps are being bombed just as we release the bombs...Let the civil war wage on..now Syria,Iran and the Saudis will have to clean up there own mess. Let Hamas have their little state but do not let any kind of aid reach them... they wanted it so bad let them figure out what to do... maybe if the people get hungry enough they will stand up for themselves.
Stop the subsidies to the oil companies... give half of that money to livestock farmers to off-set the rising cost of feed.
Build a wall on our southern border, and let the National Guard actually guard the nation.
Deport ALL illegal immigrants.
Put solar panels on all public schools and where there is room build windmills. Making the schools more self-sufficient and maybe there will less property tax....
I have more but do not want to write my whole manifesto right now.....
but some people that "whine" (your words) do have solutions it is just hard getting through all of this one sided , closed-minded " I hate you because you are you " attitude in this country to get the ideas out there.

First off, you spelled course wrong.
Secondly, they have provided an answer. But when you have to get approval from the President to change the President's course, that's when things mess up.
That right there is the reason we're getting nowhere. Arrogant **** George Bush won't admit he's wrong. He's not willing to change course. America wants change. That's why we elected the Democratic Congress. But they can't do anything when Bush vetoes everything.

I think the nation should redirect its attention to finding Osama bin Laden. YOU people repeatedly make references to 9/11, yet you don't give a damn about finding him. As for Iraq, the war will NEVER be won. The country is only becoming more decimated. It's time to pull out and stop risking the lives of American kids!
Forced democracy has never worked.

Its very easy to critique, having a solution is quite another matter. Intelligent people offer a alternative or remain quiet
on the subject.

The correct 'course' would be a structured reduction of troops. Before the Iraq civil war turns into a regional war at our expense.

The correct course of action should have been to not invade a country that didn't attack us. Since that was done the next course of action should not have been to disband the Iraq Army. Since they did that the next course of action would have been to actually have enough troops in Iraq. Since they didn't do that the next course of action would have been to realize the difference between terrorist and insurgent.
Furthermore "libs" didn't start this war and have the right to complain and criticize the President.

Two answers for you cowboy:
1. Stop lying to us and come clean about why you got us into this mess and be man enough to fess up for all the poor decisions you made for this country.
2. Start making progress to bring peace to both our country and to the one we are currently occupying instead of just sticking to your guns about what has turned out to be blatantly not the correct COURSE of action.
I believe you meant to say "course". Learn to spell.
