I got arrested last week because of someone who scammed me, & they thought I was the one who forged a bad check. I didn't.

The check-cashing lady who called the police on me called my house today & said, "Are you still associating with that scammer? Because if you ARE, then you're going BACK to jail, & I'm calling the police."

My mom called the cops on me and lied to them saying i was crazy.They came in my house,as soon as i opened the door,i did not invite them in.Then me and my daughter were in the living room, along with everybody else in the house,and another officer started opening my doors without my consent.e smelled marijuana and started asking where the weed was.Is that legal to just open my doors like that?He only smelled the weed because of that.

Why do illegal immigrants think they have done nothing illeagal? Dont they get it once you crossed the border illeagally you have broken the law and you are now a criminal. No you shouldnt have the same rights as someone who was born or came here leagally. No you shouldnt have the right to vote and no you shouldnt be allowed to have access to all of medical privlidges. If you came here legally and you have done what you are supposed to do like I suppose learn our native language.We dont really speak spanish every where. We speak english. You become a citizen then you have earned these rights like our fathers and there fathers before them. And cinco demayo is not a national holliday.

I am a natural born U.S. citizen and both my children were born in Panama and have their CROBA (citizens report of birth abroad) & U.S.Passport,I filed for my wife in January and after being told around a two month waiting period it is now 6 months to a year,I cant believe how the embassy employees treat people and how aloof and uncaring they present themselves and generally are immune from some fair minded supervision & most are not native tongue english speakers which I suspect opens up other problems for Americans seeking services in their own embassy they pretty much can tell you what ever comes to the top of their head one day and then the next day change it or flat out say they never said that.I am a Latin American and am ashamed at how integrity and some kind of proffessional service is totally lacking in our U.S Embassy in Panama and have found it to be exactly the opposite of what Gearge Bush stated in one of his speeches about assisting Americans when they need it the most.

her threats to take profits from oil companies wont work. if exxonmobil feels that its being abused by politicians like hillary then they might go the way of halliburton. pack off and go to dubai. companies have a right to make profits and not be constantly accused of something immoral (as if leftists recognize any kind of morality). ya, it feels good to take their profits and give them to the people, but like communism, its not realistic. exxonmobil already pays taxes. if they leave, theyll be paying even less.
if big companies like halliburton are leaving and sending jobs elsewhere under bush, how will they stay in america under an anti-corporate socialist like hillary?

The last few supporters of the war.......(crickets)........... keep using the argument that when we bring the troops home, the terrorists will follow them and attack us here. Those idiots really think there are no terrorists here? That they are not planning more attacks right now? That having our troops killed in a civil war amongst 2 groups that have been killing each other for 1400 years is helping fight this war on terror? Meanwhile the taliban is alive and well in Afghanistan. Al-qeada is recruiting in record numbers in north Africa. And to top it all of, Osama is still a free man. Do we need another 3000 Americans to die in a horrific attack to make America realize that we are on the wrong course?

I recently bought a DVD set online. When it arrived the box was damaged. I asked for a refund and they said that I would have to send the DVD back. I did not want to do that (the DVDs themselves worked fine). I did not want to pay out of my own pocket to send it back. So I told them to forget the refund and that I would just keep the package.
They wrote back and told me to send the package back and they would refund it. I stated again that I would keep the item. They said that it was obvious that I had been trying to scam them I wrote back and told them that the transaction was complete and we were done. I also went and left feedback on the ordering site in the negative column but I stuck to the facts and simply stated the product had been damaged when it came.
The next day I recieved an email stating that since I had left negative feedback that this was slander and that I would be hearing from their attorneys.
So my question is can they sue me for that?

My husband is threatening that he won't show up for our trial date for our divorce. We filed the papers months ago, and we did a joint petition and he signed everything, but now he says he "doesn't want to give me my divorce b/c he still loves me" What happens if only I show up for the trial date? Will the divorce still be granted to me because he already signed the papers, or will the date be moved and he will have to show up before they will grant my divorce??? Thanks!!

I work in a place where Navy graduates from Great Lakes visit frequently and I have noticed that NONE of them have name tags on their uniforms. I question them about it and they dont have an answer for me. Now, when I was in the Air Force, we got our name plates right away. Why doesnt the Navy do that as well? Any good reasons?

The US Military lied thoughout the Vietnam WAR from the Gulf of Tonkin incident to the end. They lied about Cambodia, Laos, the Phoenix program....finally the courageous Vietnamese humiliated and humbled US Forces.

If the US government would have been honorable and truthful the war would have never happened..PERIOD.
