The US Military lied thoughout the Vietnam WAR from the Gulf of Tonkin incident to the end. They lied about Cambodia, Laos, the Phoenix program....finally the courageous Vietnamese humiliated and humbled US Forces.
If the US government would have been honorable and truthful the war would have never happened..PERIOD.
This war is no different ..from the lies about WMD to Jessica Lynch to Pat Tillman. Abu Gharib torture, rape and murder by american soldiers
Why on earth would anyone fight for such an evil REGIME as the Bush regime?
Amazingly the US Government accuses other governments of being EVIL while they bomb , lie and kill.
God does not bless evil therefore he cannot bless North Korea, or the USA....both are evil nations

First lets get this straight. In Vietnam we took over for the french and it started as a police action and escalated into a war. Second the war in Iraq started as a war and has turned into a police action.
As for me supporting the president I think he lied about WMDs and I think he has probably lied about many other things. Do i follow blindly no I don't like him and have not since his first election. For someone who thinks the economy is doing well and that we have won the war he has no clue. I`m not going to say the Dems are any smarter but at least they are listening.
In my humble opinion we need to quit being the police of the world and just start taking of what we have here and let the other people of the world find out that without our help they will not survive. Do we lie in this country? No more than any other country. Unfortunately people seem to think we should be the answer country. There being attacked and we are suppose to come in and save them. They need economic help call the Americans. Need help with agriculture call the Americans. They will help they help everyone. Now that we are out of this mess we can say what we really mean they are the Dirty Americans they want to subvert us and kill us and rule the world.
Sorry if you can take our money and our military aid you should be an alie not a subversive.

The argument for the 2nd Iraq War was based on lies and the unfounded fears of another 9/11. Anyways this wouldn't be the first time a government lied to start a war, and it probably won't be the last.

Here's the best reason I know. What alternative regime do I have to support? North Korea? Those guys shouldn't be trusted with a pop gun much less a nuclear weapon. Ditto Iran's current leaders. Al Qaeda? Surely you don't want me to support a group who seems only interested in killing civilians.
The Bush regime as YOU call it may not be the best to support. But they are the best at present.

I believe the South Vietnamese asked for our assistance, and those "courageous" Vietnamese killed teachers, policemen, and regular civilians just because they weren't communist....some heroes you got there. And if you consider losing an estimated 4 million people versus the 50,000 we lost a victory, then I'd love to go to war against you.
Point two, WMD's, what did Saddam use against the Kurds??? Nerve gas, I believe, is a WMD..Using torture against an enemy that has repeatedly cut the heads off INNOCENT civilians, in my opinion, is warranted.
God has blessed this country since it's inception, and it's people. We are the envy of every CIVILIZED country in the world because of it. So you can take your anti-American diatribe and shove it.

Despite your claims, there were no lies that got us into this war, at least on the administration's part. Iraq had a history of using WMDs and all the intelligence- and all of the Democrats, including from when Clinton was still in office- said that they still had them.
