This is his 2nd violation,1st for the type of charge
has 24years over his head for previous charges
just got out in feb 07 from doing 5months 7 were suspended
did 6 years in the pen.

Ok, if he is on parole than he will do his remaining sentence along with the sentence they give him now.

That depends on quite a few things. The state he resides in. What the previous charges were, misdemeanors or felonies?
Whether they were violent crimes or not. 3 Felonies in most states will allow a judge to go above normal sentence guidelines. Most likely if it was a VOP(violation of parole or probation) he can get original sentence reinstated minus time served for that crime, not counting parole time, plus sentence for new crime. That is just the basic scenario, alot of other things can affect the total time, but without knowing the details of his previous record and pending case its hard to give a good estimate.
