My mother passed away in 07/2006, She was divorced from my stepfather in 2000 for his alcahol addiction.He has never worked and lived off my mom for 15 years. Even going as far as stealling and selling her belongings, She let him stay there until he found a place? Well its been 7 YEARS! I let him stay until my 2 siblings and I made a decision on her estate,now that we have, how do we go about this. We have been told he is going to the flea market selling her items since her death. TY for any advise.

Having just joined Answers, I am amazed at the amount of insulting going on without true debate or ideas. I am a libertarian. I have some leanings to the left and some to the right. I enjoy debate and respect others views. However, I am not saying I am faultless in insulting. I found myself caught up in it and fired some insults myself.

But where does this get us? Angry? One-sided? We have got to start true debate and resolution. By pointing fingers at each other, we are not pointing to the problems that really need to be addressed. On both sides of government there is corruption. On both sides theres is greed and self promotion. We need to look at our government and not each other.

So, my questions are, why can't we have true, knowledgeable debating with out the name calling? Why can't we reseach our answers before spouting off at the mouth? When do we make government accountable for their actions? The way things are going on here we are not resolving anything.

During the Senate hearings, AG Gonzales claimed over 200 times that he "couldn't recall" incidents that we know took place (including meetings he himself had called!) and statements we know he made.

If your boss asked you questions about your job and you kept replying "I don't recall," how long would you stay in your job? Not long, I suspect.

We should cut him some slack if he has Alzheimers or brain damage that prevents him from remembering prominent and critical events & facts, even if it is only those that might be harmful to his job or reputation (or that of the President). But if that's the case, should he remain as AG anyway?

Should America's top law enforcement executive be a person who admittedly "can't recall" his most important decisions and actions? Wouldn't it be more honorable if he admitted his mental deficiencies and resigned, rather than embarrass himself and the President even more than he has already?

They say yes he's lied and is making a big mess but they end w/ "But he is the President and I support him as President, regardless. It's like saying the "shooter" killed so many. I feel that's a horrible thing but he did write some good literature and he was shy, poor thing." When will Americans stand up for what is right not a name tag?

I was married to his father and then we filed for separation last year. My son is half american and half mexican. He doesn't' understand much english though. I don't want them to deport him with his father though. If he goes he might not come back....

A friend who was joining a year ago told me that if you don't like the pistol you're issued, you may use a different one, but you have to pay fo it. Is this the case? I do not tust the Beretta, and I would much prefer to carry a 45 into combat.

I know there's gotta be some rational Liberals who must go crazy when one of their own puts forward absolutely insane ideas .

Case in point. .. . By now, most of you know about Sheryl Crow's idea of everybody only using one square of toilet paper per sitting . Crazy enough, but if you check out her blog , there's more, LOL, and it's just as crazy too . On that blog, I just read that they're also promoting a new product idea. . . . the 'Dinner Sleeve' . Yes, that's right, they want us all to bring a dinner sleeve with us when we go out to dinner . This 'sleeve' would be slid over our forearms so that we could wipe our mouths and faces on our 'sleeve' rather than use the already provided napkins . LMAO. . . Can you imagine dining-out with clients or your spouse or a date and wiping your face on your new " Liberal Dining Sleeve' ? And haven't they considered the extra-detergent that it will take to wash them . . . .. .We are supposed to wash them. . .aren't we ?

maybe give us the ability to recommend users to be suspended and let us put it to vote? One vote per IP (it may cut a few people out from public outlets and what not.. but it will also cut down on clones casting multiple votes). Any thoughts/improvements on the idea?

Why aren't more people on board with this idea. I think it is a good one. I think that if we impeach Bush it will take a long time but I think it will throw a message out there to the elected officials that we the people are serious. We are the ones who may have put them in office and we can take them out just the same when they take advantage of us.
