actually the people who keep pointing that out may very well be incorrect.. melting of the polar ice caps does not mean that mars is warming... Mars doesn't have a large moon to stabilize it's wobble on it's axis.. so it could very well be that it's polls are moving closer to where the equator should be... more direct sun for the polls.. more melting.. but the global temperature would still be the same... in other words.. it's a decent theory.. but there are other plausible explanations and not enough information to say for sure what is going on.
