Low 30's has been where he has been dwelling fairly consistently. I keep thinking he'll do SOMETHING to look competent, but every week brings a new disaster of some kind. He really is beyond lame-duck status at this point. Most people don't even bother to complain about him anymore.

I don't trust any polls where only small samples are used to determine what everyone thinks. Though I understand the statistics, I also understand how to bias such statistics with and without intention. Take the 2004 Presidential exit polls as an example (and one which libs hate) where Kerry was projected to win by a wide margin.

Support is a pretty vague term.
If you mean "Do not wish to overthrow" then it would be in the high 90s.
If you mean "Agree with all of his policies" then it would be in the mid 20s.
Personally, I think he is a dangerously stupid man with delusions of infallibility. He has wasted the reservoir of good will it took this nation decades to build. He is pursuing a self-defeating foreign policy, a short-sighted and ultimately evil domestic and environmental policy, and routinely violates the U.S. Constitution.
That said, he is the duly elected President of the United States and I support the office of the President.
Perhaps in two years, things will get better.

Sounds about right to me, around 1/3 of the electorate.
That's the same percentage of people who still believe the earth is flat and that the sun revolves around the earth.

Polls typically show his support hovering somewhere in the 35% range, give or take a few points.

The President was elected to do a job. In truth, polls do not matter. He is doing what he thinks is right, regardless of opinion polls. I give him credit for having convictions.
