Beats me, but we gave him the authority for the 2001 US (Un) Patriot Act and we didn't even give a grimace to that. We also let him take our troops and put them in harms way in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hell, they are still there and probably will be for a long, long time! Does anyone get sick of the lawmakers and other government officials NOT having their kids in the military and fighting for a country that really is so apathetic to EVERYTHING?
